The camera is a high quality item with well-designed functions. It arrived within a day of the order and it was very well packed with all the relevant parts for installation. It was easy to install from very detailed and helpful instructions. The videos it produces are of very high (2K) resolution and the options the app offers are more than adequate for all needs. Excellent product and very competitive pricing. Highly recommended.

Everything I've ever purchased from CPVANs/CHZHVANS has been exceptional. I have original BC01 cameras that are still going strong after 5 years and tens of thousands of activations. The camera quality is still up there with what is on the market now and the VicoHome app continues to be updated with some really brilliant features. MagicPix and Auto-On being two of them. Really clever innovations. It's mid market appeal makes it suitable for home owners who don't want the headache of spending £300+ and install costs. These are virtually plug and play, couldn't be happier. Multiple recordings provided to the Police with two of them actually ending up being used in court.

This outdoor wireless security camera offers a handy solution to anyone who might not be able to provide power to their desired camera location - but it is within 2.4Ghz Wifi Range. It is a fairly common design overall with a bulbous white appearance and a black face - making it fairly overt - handy if you’re wanting your camera to be ‘noticed’ as a visual deterrent - although being rechargeable you’ll need it to be relatively accessible so you maybe don’t want it to be a target. Getting it up-and-running rather annoyingly requires the use of a bespoke App called ‘VicoHome’. I’m not a fan of having bespoke apps for connected devices and would rather they used shared services - especially when the process for adding this devices is exactly the same as that used by the more commonly used Tuya SmartLife app. I did try initially seeing if it would add to SmartLife but sadly not. There is also nothing in the way of broader smart home integration with the main ecosystems (Google Home/Amazon Alexa/Apple Homekit/Samsung Smarthings etc.) so you are reliant upon the VicoHome app completely for engagements with this camera. Fairly typically, the app tries to ‘encourage’ you to sign-up to a subscription plan that provides you with cloud monitoring and additional features. Fortunately you don’t have to do this as the ‘Free’ plan gives you the basic functionality to get it working. This is unlike some of those 3G/4G cameras you can get which basically don’t work unless you pay them for an expensive data subscription plan. There is an SD memory card slot for local storage which is a good option as well for any recordings if you wish to use that. So far, things appear to be going well and it is working as expected. I don’t know how well the fittings and housing will stand up to British weather. The rear mount is stainless steel with no rubberised shielding that might have provided some additional protection but it doesn’t seem to be causing any issues so far - considering you do have to remove the camera frequently for recharging. They quote up to 3 months life per charge based on 20 activations per day but what you will get will depend on your setting and configured options. For a price of c. £40 (at time of review) I think that’s good value for that you’re getting without a subscription - but I would have liked it to not rely on bespoke apps.

Highly recommend these, easy to set up and connect to your phone. Image quality good and you can speak through them in the app. Good for doggy cam. I also bought USB extension cables so I could have them constantly charged.

Great little camera, perfect for what I need. I already have several of these. Easy to set up & the battery lasts for ages.

I have owned 3 of the previous generation of these cameras. The 2 new ones are almost identical apart from a more up to date USB charging cable. I use these cameras to monitor the outside of my property (they are fully waterproof in my experience) and inside the property in case of intrusion. The Vicohome App works very well to view the cameras remotely and report any movements quite quickly. The flash light and siren functions work well triggered by movement, all controlled from the app. Altogether brilliant value for money.

Easy to set up easy to fit and great to use but there is a subscription of £2.99/£3.99 a month for video play back, and depending on angle of camera you can have 99 notifications of cars going up and down the street or if you try and move the camera to not get so many useless notifications you end up with people at your door before getting a notification at all 😂 but still good for what I need it for!
