Airthereal B50 Mini Ozone Generator, Plug-In Design, 320 Sq Ft, 1-Pack

I was super impressed with this tiny machine. I’m renovating a house once occupied by a long time smoker. The bathroom is where, for whatever reason, they did the majority of their smoking. Enough that white wallpaper was turned yellow and tar ran down the walls. I've only used it in this small bathroom, but it significantly reduced the odor after a day. After removing the wallpaper there was still enough smell to make your eyes itch, but I've been running this overnight when I'm not working at the house, and now when you walk in you can't hardly tell there was ever a smoker. Some notes, it is rather noisy. Since I only let it run when I'm not there and you shouldn't be in the room with an ozone machine anyway, it didn't bother me. Lowest setting is a low buzz and get's louder from there. I couldn't hear it with the door closed on medium output. Very easy to use. Just plug it in and turn the dial, so simple to adjust. Though I wish there was more guidance on how high to turn it, I kinda guess. Overall, very surprised and pleased with how well it worked for the price. It's small and even looks nice on the wall when not in use. I'm going to try it in the musty utility room next.

Purchased to remove heavy perfume smell from a pre-loved Louis Vuitton bag. Placed outside in a rubber storage bin with lid on it for a few hours. Worked well! There is still a slight scent but previously it was so heavy it made me sneeze and I worried if I was going to be able to keep it. Very happy with this product.

Did what I expected. but no bones about it, long term, ozone is actually bad for you. I just needed this to kill a few odors And only when I'm not home.

there are boatloads of articles out praising ozone treatments and condemning them. it is hard to tell what is truth and what is californication. either way, i will drop a 5 star on this...as far as i can tell it generates ozone in a room. it turns on when turned on, and makes the smell when left there. does it remove smells? i havent used it enough to really tell yet. but the machine does what it says it will do...squirt out ozone. good or bad...you be the judge.

The three main features that I like the most about this ozone generator is (1) its small size, (2) its ability to be plugged into a wall socket or a power strip and (3) its continuously-adjustable dial that controls the precise amount of ozone you desire. But the feature that's hard to beat is its price - which is a fraction of the cost of other generators that pump out the same levels of ozone that this little gem can provide. In fact, the only time I turned the output dial to maximum is when I had it plugged into a power strip placed beneath my A/C's air handler to clean and freshen the air throughout my house. Typically, when I'm using it in a bedroom or bathroom, I'll keep the dial right at the point where it turns the unit on. Since the internal fan is too small to circulate the ozone around any room larger than a bathroom, I put a small desk fan or floor fan in front of the unit to help distribute the ozone quickly and evenly. It takes about five minutes with the unit set on low to freshen the air and deodorize the furnishings inside each room. If you have a closet or large container with bad mold or mildew smell in it, I'd set the unit to maximum and leave it run for five to ten minutes. I've also used it in my car to remove bad odors by plugging it unto a power strip or extension cord, passing the wire through a partially opened door window and then inserting the plug into a wall socket inside the garage. Say "Good-bye" to those heavily-perfumed products like Glade or Febreeze that only mask bad odors and say, "Hello," to ozone molecules that literally dissolve away the chemical components of those bad smells.

*UPDATE: 10.07.25. Adding a video of the sound. This is the quieter sound. It gets louder. I don't have time to keep bumping them to make it stop. I'm dropping another star. I don't recommend. (Sorry. It's not letting me add the video right now. I don't know why. I'll try later.) *UPDATE: Writing on 09.27.25. I've been meaning to update for at least a couple of months. I'll leave my old review, but I'm changing the stars. These lost their power shortly after I started using them. I always had one in my garage, and I have one in a guest bedroom where I keep boxes. I like their portability and use them to keep the smell of cardboard away, use in the kitchen while cooking to get rid of food smells, and sometimes in a bathroom when cleaning as it helps remove the chemical cleaner smell. But these aren't keeping up. It seems like they've lost their initial ozone power. If I put my face close to it, I can smell it, but they're just not keeping up like the last brand. Unfortunately it's past the return point and I'm disappointed about that. Dropping from 5 stars to 2. Original review: So far, so good! I used to buy some that look like this, P L I X I O. I don't know what happened to them. They just weren't working as they were supposed to anymore. But these have been good so far and are creating that 'fresh air' smell. I use these when I'm cooking to neutralize the smell of the food. Not that the food smells bad, I just like a clean air smell. Currently I have one in the garage to keep it fresh in there. It really helps to keep it from smelling like stale cardboard boxes and 'garage'. The other is in a vacant property that I'm moving into. They property management had cleaners come in and spray some awful scent, so I've been working to get rid of that. That also seems to be working pretty well. I don't recall if it has a timer, but it doesn't matter because it would be easy enough to get a separate timer and plug it into that. The thing I like most about this particular style is that I get to control output. It's important. I get to choose if I need a little help or lots of help. That feature alone is worth it.

Good little unit that started very aggressive with ozone production, and was very quiet. Now months later it is noisy and ozone production levels change a bit. We lost power last night, and it is now so noisy that I unplugged it. For the price and how long it did run, I guess it is OK.

These work excellent for small to medium rooms I run them once a week (we do smoke) it clears the odors freshens our bedrooms, be aware you do need to ventilate afterward and if you do not like the smell of ozone (smells like the sunshine used to years ago!) it dissipates quickly.
