RØDE PodMic Broadcast-quality Dynamic Microphone with Integrated Swing Mount for Podcasting, Streaming, Gaming, and Voice Recording (White)

I've spent just over a month with this mic and it deffo lived up to expectations however the one thing I did find out with the mic is having a a decent audio interface like a rodecaster would be the way to go, since it has taken me about 3 weeks to a month to get the mic dialed in perfectly on the Mackie m caster studio but since I got it setup perfectly it sounds amazing on my stream. The one thing I would recommend is getting a wind break/ pop filter as rode doesn't supply one in the box which is a downside in my eyes but there cheap enough to pick up for like 10quid. But this mic is a defo and an insta buy for streaming and whatever else you want to use it for if you can get it when it's on offer since I bought mine for 65quid.

I expected this brand to be costly and as a start up studio I was dubious to purchase- however on arrival I realised the excellent quality.Very easy to install and I’m not a tech person! Set up with ease. They look the park. The sound quality is absolutely brilliant. The XLR cables fitted with ease and they fit on most mic stands or arms. So very versatile - small enough if you want to make them mobile and very light weight kit!No issues with connection or sound!Fabulous product and in a very good price range!

its good microphone for a budget

Great little microphone that performs well. It's not quite at NT1-A levels of low noise – there is some audible self-noise, but it's perfectly acceptable. If you're naturally loud-voiced or speak close to the mic, with the correct gain setting it becomes barely noticeable.I'm using it with an SSL 2 MK2 audio interface and typically set the input gain between 7.5 and 9 to achieve the right level. No phantom power is required, which is a nice bonus.Build quality is excellent, with decent noise rejection – not quite on par with a shotgun mic, but effective enough for most home and project studio environments. The integrated pop shield is a welcome feature, and the cradle is easy to adjust to find the ideal angle. Mounted on a desk boom arm and positioned horizontally, the mic stays comfortably out of your line of sight during VO work.

Surprisingly love it. Heard a lot of negative reviews but I'd done my research. It IS a gain heavy mic and even with a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 4th gen audio interface, I have to keep gain almost at max, but pairing this with a Klark Teknik CT 1 inline mic booster (cheaper than a Cloudlifter) solved the issue big time. Now you get that broadcast quality sound with a lot of control over loudness. Now I can keep the audio interface at just 40-45dB than 69dB for gain.Oh, and the mic does seem to have high sibilance at least with my voice, so I simply added an unbranded (cheap) pop filter on top to counter that (apparently it comes with an inbuilt one too though but I needed it still)Has become my go to for YouTube, Google Meet calls and everything broadcast related.

So good. We have 3 shure mics in the studios and I can’t tell the difference for our needs . No way will I pay 3 x the amount for the Shure model

i bought this mic last year but i forgot to write a review, on the upside - i have had plenty of time with it and here is what i think of it:you can tell straight away that this is a premium dynamic microphone, its heavy and feels very premium.it sounds amazing paired with a Rodecaster Duo - my voice sounds crisp and very clear, however - this mic requires ALLOT of gain to get working properly (around 56DB) on my previous interface i was nearly maxing the gain out which increased the noise floor quite a bit, so i did have to upgrade but it was worth it!overall 10/10 product i can reccomend!

Bought this for some fairly casual streaming and YouTube content making.Couldn't be more pleased. Really good microphone. Of course if you're upgrading from something more simple you're going to need a mixer and such, it's not just plug and play, but well worth it.Great, cheap microphone.
