Recently, I had to sleep on a bed with a firmer mattress than I used to. Over time, I started feeling my lower back in the morning when just getting out of bed. I am a side sleeper, so I also was getting sore spots on my shoulders and hips. I started waking up more during the night to change position.I was skeptical about using a mattress topper, but I decided to try it. Once it arrived, I put it into a dryer for 30 min at an air dry cycle with cold air. It fluffed up a bit, and after that, I didn’t smell any noticeable odors.Several reviews here state that the pad is smaller than the mattress. When putting it in, you need to pull the skirt part down from all sides to tug it under the mattress. Then, the pad spreads as it is supposed to. I got a queen size, and it fits my mattress.The pad is not thick, but it adds a bit of a pillow-top feeling to the mattress. The bed got a bit softer, yet I am not sinking into the added pad layer. So far, I started sleeping much better, and my lower back is not sore anymore in the morning. It got a bit easier on my shoulders, too.I can’t attest to whether this pad is hot or cooling. I am using a waterproof cover over it, and its temperature didn't change after adding the topper.

I only put this on yesterday and I don’t know how I’ve lived my life without it. It came in 24hours in a tight compact box. The mattress cover was vacuum sealed. I was a little worried because it looked kind of thin but it fluffed up by the time I got the sheets cleaned and dried. It’s literally like sleeping on a pillow. I woke up this morning with less back pain and a happier attitude. Get it for yourself, your body and your mind.

I bought this because my husband has a rough job and needed more support to get comfortable; I wanted it because I have arthritis in my back and needed support, too. We came across this one, read reviews carefully, and ended up buying it to try it out. It wasn't as thick as I thought it would be, but this did not disappoint. It's very comfy to lay on, and I was up crocheting, and my lower back didn't hurt, nor did my sides, which they do every night! So, it's definitely worth the purchase, and I love how much it covers the thick bed; its size fits true. It's flat but not lumpy, doesn't have a smell, offers great comfort for the price, and is functional. So far, I can feel it under me, so it's not for people who are sensitive to slight lumps. It's not very cooling, so I wouldn't get it for hot sleepers, and I would have preferred plain to logos all over the cover. Happy with the purchase, though. Details I also want to share are that it arrived on time and in great condition, even sealed properly to keep it fresh when opened.

It’s nice ordered a calking for my bed had just get a new medium for a mattress and it was to hard for us so I ordered this to help make it softer. It come fast and had no smell to it and it take a min for it to puff up I put it in the dryer to help it puff up some more wise it had my cushion into it, but it does the job

Well made, softens a too firm mattress. Purchased a new mattress that was too firm for my arthritic joints. I didn’t want the heat and weight of a memory foam topper. This padded mattress pad gave me the extra softness I wanted. It didn’t feel like sleeping on a cloud as one reviewer stated but did make for a more comfortable bed. Very happy with combination of this pad on my new mattress.

I was pleasantly surprised at how much this mattress topper helped with comfort on our mattress. Our mattress was starting to hurt our backs and we don't want to buy a new one right now. Its very fluffy and makes our bed extra cozy. Had a great night's sleep. Also cannot beat the price. Shipping was very fast as well!

I was considering purchasing a new mattress since mine is aging, but then I came across this mattress topper and decided to give it a try. I’m hoping it will extend the life of my mattress by a few more years. The topper is definitely worth the investment—it adds a soft yet supportive feel to my bed. Good product for the value. However it is NOT firm. It doesn't claim to be. But don't get the wrong idea. If you are looking for back, hip, side sleeper SUPPORT, you will need to get a memory foam type topper. This blanket is plush and squooshy for lack of a better term. It improves the bed with a soft cloud feel. I would classify it as a luxury enhancement. If your mattress is sinking, this may not be the correct purchase. It has deep pockets to fit the mattress but mine slips down on the side I sleep, There is NO smell. I am not allergic to the material and I have sensitive skin. I put my blanket in the dryer for 20 minutes to fluff and let it sit for one night. I look forward to going to bed!
