Excellent cutting — rooted fast and looks beautiful.
I’m very impressed with this white willow cutting. It arrived fresh and started rooting almost immediately. The leaves have a lovely silver tone that really stands out. Strong, healthy growth and great quality. Highly recommend.

Very disappointed
I received the delivery a month ago and followed the instructions by leaving the cuttings in a jar of water to grow roots. Unfortunately, the cuttings never developed any roots and now just look like dry twigs. Very disappointed with the quality

Beautiful Bonsai!!!
I wanted to give it a couple weeks to see how it was working out before I left a review. I didn't have such great luck with my first cutting but that was my fault and my first lesson in NEVER USE MIRACLE GROW. This is going to be such a beautiful tree! The growth on it so far is just amazing! Just see for yourself in the photos I'm attaching. I started it in water just as they said two on the enclosed instructions. I may have cheated a little I used a rooting hormone after noticing just some bumps but no roots protruding yet. It definitely took off after that. I'm keeping it under a grow light on a seed heating mat. I ordered the Fox farm Ocean Forest soil and that's currently what it's in. The instructions say you cannot over water this and I have been taking advantage of that, lol. I probably just water it once a day, maybe twice if it's feeling on the dryer side because between the grow light and the heat mat it does go through moisture quicker. I also have it in a very small pot to prevent it from sitting in too much soggy soil until a good root system gets established. I also used Myco Supreme when I first planted it in the pot. The bonsai all-purpose soil that CZ Grain sells is also really good. With some of my other plans they seem very happy and it is a very well draining soil You don't have to worry about water logging or root rot. But to provide even better aeration I mix Bonsai Jack's Gritty Mix with the CZ Grain and that's what one of my other bonsai is in. Thanks CZ Grain!

Quick rooting!
The branch got here early and I didn’t have a spot ready yet, but it came with clear instructions, and it’s doing so well! I’m very excited. There were no leaves on the sticks that arrived, these all grew within the week! It roots very quickly, and loooooves water! Cant wait!

good luck.......
It didn't take long for roots to form while in a vase/jar with water. However, once planted, it (they) died within days. I'd rather buy one already grown in a planter with leaves/branches and an established root ball (3-4' or taller).

They need to be planted by a pond or where it stays wet.
My willow tree is growing great. When I ordered it I thought I would only have one but when I unwrapped it l had three sticks with roots. 2 of them just looked like sticks and one had blooms on it. know they all three are growing real nice. Willow trees need lots of water so when you go to plant them in the ground, plant them by water or some where that stays wet. Iam going to plant mine by our pond. All I did when I got mine was plant them in miracle-gro potting soil and water it every morning and evening. You can look at the pictures to see how much I watered it.

I don’t think I’d purchase again
Unfortunately I ordered this along with 2 others. I ordered the weeping willow, wisteria, and green geisha. The only one that ever produced roots was the geisha , the others never sprouted any form of roots. The picture is also misleading, because it present the idea that their cuttings that already have leaves. Which isn’t the case. Overall I’m super disappointed. The ones I wanted to grow the most didn’t even root sadly. Not sure if they used hormone rooting gel even. I’ve grown 100’s of bonsai over the years, and I’ve only had issues like this a few times before. Just sucks because I really waited ever since I bought them thinking eventually they would show signs of roots.
