Can this switch charge two laptops simultaneously?

No. This switch charges only the currently selected (active) computer. The other connected computer will not receive power at the same time. To charge both computers, separate chargers are required.

Can I use a USB-C coupler to connect this switch to a dock with a built-in cable?

No. Please connect the switch directly to the dock’s USB-C port. USB-C Couplers and docks with integrated cables can cause compatibility issues.

Why are the USB peripherals on my dock not working when connected through the USB-C switch?

Use a dock without a built-in cable. Try flipping the USB-C cable between the laptop and switch. If the issue continues, contact Cable Matters with your setup details for further help.
