Shadow of the Colossus (PS4)

A great remaster of the old one, exciting boss battles where not one moment is stale and always krep you on the edge of your seat. The music is intense and there is also a challenge in completing this. The graphics and the colossi look amazing and the battle style is perfect for battling them. Overall a must buy if you really like games with a ton of bosses and also a little bit of a challenge.

Nice and peaceful game

At the time of this review, Ive played 3 hrs of this game on my standard ps4 and I must tell you that this game is AMAZING. Bluepoint games has done an extraordinary work for this remake. The graphics, the environment and the gameplay is superb. It's a must buy for a PS4 owner. The only shortcoming is that the game is only 5-6 hrs in length as the per some reviews.

It's a great single player experience, with amazing music and a very good story. The controls take a little bit of getting used to, but you can't beat the feeling of beating a giant colossus while an epic soundtrack plays in the background.

Read and watched a lot of reviews about the game being a masterpiece. It looks amazing, however the character control is comically uncomfortable. Maybe I've been spoilt for choice with assisted movement in games like Uncharted, HZD, GOW, etc. But this makes the game extremely annoying at times. If you're used to playing AAA games and have not played on older gen consoles, you should skip this one. Packaging: Received a damaged case, despite several requests of replacement, Amazon just refunded the money and let me keep the game. Would've preferred to get it replaced but can't complain.

This is a great steal in my opinion. This is hell of an experience. I am glad that I played it. Delivery service was also great.

In today's gaming market where making a AAA game is becoming more and more expensive, we rarely see a big budget game that is trying to be more than a service or a voice that matches the best of literature and film in philosophical realm. Shadow of The Colossus reminds you of an era where games use to take more risks. Shadow of The Colossus goes against all modern gaming tropes. It's open world is empty; derived of any side quest, it's only 5 hour long, the game has no combat outside of the boss battles yet at the end of it all it just works, the visuals, music, atmosphere, they all click together and it achieves it all without sacrificing gameplay. It's an experience worth having before you die because there is nothing like it.
