Bright, Beautiful, Easy-to-Use and Cost Effective Oil Pastels
At this price, this is literally the best artists' quality oil pastels you can get. It's cheap you can paint to your heart's content and keep practicing without worrying about "wasting" money. The pastels mix well and the colours are bright and varied. I have used mod podge as a fixer coating on these so that the oil pastels don't spread or get muddied while handling. I have used a 100 GSM paper meant for regular drawing, so the true potential of the colors can't be seen in the pictures I've added. I'm also completely new to oil pastels, so all the issues you see with bad mixing of colors or shading is on me, and not the precious pastels!! If art gives you joy and you're looking to try oil pastels, don't hesitate to buy these!!! Money well spent, and will definitely spend again on this!!! P.S. The item was shipped to me in a good state, everything was fresh and unbroken.

Awesome product at such an affordable price!!
Simply awesome!! Has an intense buttery feeling when applying. Colours are highly pigmented compared to the student grade oil pastels from Camlin. The sticks are chunky/large and bigger than the students grade. Although I have never used any other brands of oil pastels besides Camlin, I can definitely say this is a great product and can surely compete with foreign expensive brands. Camlin gives us artists quality products at a very affordable price which are quite competetive in quality with US and European brands. At this price, I had nothing to loose except gain an awesome product!! At least I can say that for Oil Pastels, Soft Pastels and Water Colours because I use all of these. I might try Pentel at a later point in time but for now I am really happy that I purchased this. Thanks Amazon for timely delivery and iron-clad packaging.

Excellent product, terrible packaging!
Arrived just now. Product Quality- I have used the 25 shades version before so I know that they are of very high quality. That is why I ordered the 50 shades version. These are buttery soft and can be very easily blended. The painting is created by using the 25 shade version. So yes, I would recommend this set to others. Packaging : The plastic shell for the oil pastels is severely damaged. It's quite surprising that we get a plastic box for the students' version of oil pastels, but we get a cardboard box for the artists' version. Camel please provide us with a proper box.

Very fine quality Much much better than student oil pastels. Packaging could have been better by camel but it seems they are trying to be environment friendly, so overall good product

I get wrong box.
I good the student grade oil pastels instead of Artist grade. Still the oil pastels work pretty well, I hope in future I will get right order.
