Prefer over Dremel
I carve rocks using diamond bits (See pic) and I was using a dremel brand tool and extension for the bits. I went through 2 dremels and was on a 3rd and then the extension wore out. I went through 3 extensions actually. The locking mechanism to hold the bits tight wears out and you need to remove the ball and stick a pin in to hold the clasp. NOT WITH THIS SET UP! This is nice! It already has a hole in the tip to stick a small screwdriver in the extension to remove bits, so there is no ball spring to wear out. This is just a tad quieter than my dremels were as well. And for the price, this is a great deal, I purchased another set to have on hand for just in case. When I carve rocks, I am running these things for hours. Every 20 hours or so, I remove the extension inner spline and lightly grease with high temp grease is all I have been doing. Runs great! Speed adjusts fine for my needs. I usually run them for a max of about an hour or so and this is holding up just fine after 4 months. It is so easy to change bits on this one. I use a small screwdriver, they give you a small allen wrench thing, but i the longer handled screwdriver is the ticket for me, slide right into the hole and I can use my mini channel lock wrench to untighten and re tighten the collet on. So I dont use the ones they send with this, I like something a little more beefy to hold. So that is the only knock i see, but the little ones they provide do work, they are just harder to hold. They give you a few bits and stuff with this and for the price this is the set you need. I hang mine up high and do not bend the extension more than you are supposed to. This holds the bits very well, better than the dremels I used did, they would loosen some times. Sorry dremel, I wont be back.

Favorite DIY Sidekick
Bought this for one task: grind away an interfering piece of metal in my door’s strike plate. I was unhappy about spending $20 on another DIY tool for one tiny specific purpose but to my pleasant surprise, I haven’t stopped using this dremel since. I’ve cut and sanded wood projects, trimmed custom cabinet panels, smoothed jagged hole edges, and more. I hardly ever turn the dial past 4 to find a speed I’m comfortable with. It’s very powerful and gives great results. I bought a cheaper one that busted on the first try and I’m so happy this was my next choice. It’s handled all the fixer-upper challenges I’ve asked of it. The starter kit is a little sparse on the good stuff like saw blades and washers but very helpful. The case is convenient. My only gripe is I have to be intentional about placement to get it to close but the cord and extension tool is so long and useful that it makes up for it. It’s a little bulky but comfortable to hold and I’ve been able to reach all the narrow corners and tight spaces I’ve needed. My next project is to cut away some protruding screw threads and my immediate thought was to reach for the WEN rotary. For the amount of value I’ve gotten out of it, this thing has paid for itself a few times already.

You can't beat it fir the price!!
For the price you can't best this thing. Now this is not a commercial rotary tool . This is for home owners to do stuff around the house. Last one I had was an actual dremel. Home owners version. And they are about the same. I love the flexible extension that comes with it it. Now it will get hot if u run it constantly. Like I said this is not a commercial tool. But it's pretty close. And half the cost of the name brand cheapest one eith no attachment. I was leary at first but after using it on many projects, I can say i was wrong. This is actually a damn good good tool.

For the money this is amazing!
I love this rotary tool. Mind you it’s not a 150$+ dremmel but it is a workhorse and very reliable. I see these comments of disappointed people saying it’s not up to there standards and there dremmel is better. I don’t understand that. This is a 20$ rotary tool and the best one for that price you can find. Most of these reviews are comparing to high end expensive dremmels and that doesn’t make sense to me. Anyway I like the rotary tool very much and the first thing I did was buy the keyless Chuck made by wen so I don’t have to deal with collets and have them wear out or keep changing them when I need to use a different size bit. Best investment I made. Makes life so much easier. I ended up buying 2, one for the rotary and one for the flex shaft. Also if you have never used a flex shaft you need to understand that you have to take the collar off and slide the insert out of the flex shaft so you can clamp the rotary tool on it and then screw it on where you removed the collar. I recommend every 20 to 30 hours of use with the flex shaft take the insert out and wipe the grease off and reapply a light amount of grease. That way it doesn’t heat up. I’ve found that with this particular flex shaft graphite does not work so well like other models. It will get hot with graphite. I’ve found that Valvoline red high temp bearing grease works the absolute best. You can buy it in the tube here on Amazon or at you’re local auto parts store. The high temp is what you need and it prevents grease from melting down into the handle of the flex shaft. All in all this is a win win if you understand how to maintain and take care of it. I originally got one of these because my grandfather has one and it’s over 12 years old and it’s still working. Probably has a couple thousand hours of use on his. Take care of you’re stuff it will take care of you…

Does what you expect from a cheap knockoff tool
Works great except for the extension, stripped out on the first use, otherwise I'd give it 5 stars

Bargain Package Deal
This is an outstanding deal. The motor runs very smooth and quiet compared to the name brand of these devices. As for the reviews about the cutter wheels being junk, they are not. These little cot-off discs are naturally very fragile. The ones included are normal for the trade. You can't push those little cutter wheels nor get them in any bind at all. Otherwise they just explode into pieces. As for the brand, Wen is a very old name and know for making a decent tool for much less.

Excelente producto, 100% comparable a DREMEL.

BUY IT NOW!
Stop your search for another rotating tool now, this is the real deal my friend! Can't believe I got this for 32$... I was looking for something wired for more power, and something handy and very maniable, than this tool with an unknow brand came out of nowhere. What they called the Flex Shaft is basically a pen size adapter... very, very maniable. It is truly comparable to similar Dremel tool over 100$ in term of Amp power, and RPM (10, 000 to 32, 000 RPM). Only CON: Wrong item title. It is not true that there is 100 accessories provided with, more like 30ish (what you see on picture is what you'll get). You might need (eventually) a separate kit of bits, as the one provided is very basic, but for this price, seriously? Spoil yourself with a nicer and complete kit if you need so. Chapeau to WEN brand. I will try other tool as well.
