This kit comes with the Raspberry Pi 5 itself, a sturdy case, copper radiators, a cooling fan, a 64 GB SD card, two HDMI cables, and a power supply. These accessories are essential for optimal performance, as the powerful Raspberry Pi 5 requires effective cooling. The cooling system is particularly noteworthy. Despite its small size, the copper radiator offers excellent thermal conductivity, superior to that of aluminum. This, combined with the compact fan, ensures efficient cooling. For best results, I recommend positioning the fan to blow air onto the components. Although there is no directional arrow on the fan, the direction of airflow can be determined by the shape of the blades. If unsure, refer to my photos for guidance. Assembling the case is straightforward, and the final build is robust enough to provide excellent protection for the Raspberry Pi. The case's solid construction is reassuring, adding an extra layer of security for the components. The included microSD card also exceeded expectations in terms of speed. Despite anticipating a lower performance, the card proved to be fast and reliable. Raspbian (Raspberry Pi OS) comes pre-installed, requiring only basic configuration upon the first boot. Users will need to set up their login credentials, connect to WiFi, and install any suggested updates. The versatility of the Raspberry Pi 5 is another strong point. I bought this kit specifically to run Home Assistant on a Raspberry Pi 5, and it has been absolutely spot on. Everything you need comes neatly packaged, and the 64GB card with Bookworm pre-loaded made the initial setup much quicker than expected. I had Home Assistant running within minutes. The red & white case feels solid and well-designed, with good airflow for the Pi 5 (which does run hotter than previous models). The included cooling system does its job, my temperatures have stayed stable even with add-ons and dashboards running. The power supply is reliable, and all accessories feel good quality, not cheap extras. Performance-wise, the Pi 5 is night and day compared to older models. Home Assistant loads faster, automations respond instantly, and the whole system feels more capable. For anyone wanting a dedicated HA hub, this kit makes life simple: no hunting for compatible parts, no guessing about power or SD card speed, it just works. Overall, a brilliant starter kit. This is the second Raspberry Pi I've owned but the first Pi 5, purchased primarily as a cheap retro emulation machine which it handles very well. Minor assembly required just to fit the heat sync and insert into the case (if using), very simple to do and takes a couple of minutes max. Would recommend the 4 little screws are placed in their holes on the board before lowering into the case and then tightening as they can be a little fiddly and although they do supply a mini screwdriver it doesn't hold the screws well even though it is magnetic. Remove the plastic covers from the three sticky blue thermal pads before attaching the heating and connect the cable to the main board for power for the fan and then pop the case on and attach the sticky feet. Very simple overall. Power adapter is supplied as are two micro HDMI to HDMI cables, use one of these to connect a suitable monitor and either connect USB keyboard and mouse toone of the four USB ports (2 x USB 3 and 2 x USB 2) or as it has Bluetooth built in you can utilise Bluetooth versions. Pop in the supplied Raspberry OS SD card and turn on then follow very simple instructions to setup the OS and connect to your WiFi and that's it. You now have a fully functioning mini computer, looks great and performs well. For setup of a retro emulation machine the instructions are readily found and you now have a snappy little emulation machine.. Great buy, nicely packaged and so much more you can do with these machines with a little imagination. Thoroughly recommend.

Besonders praktisch ist die beiliegende Anleitung zum Zusammenbau sowie eine Kurzanleitung, falls man das Betriebssystem selbst installieren möchte. Ich musste nichts vorbereiten – einfach zusammenbauen, anschließen und starten. Der Pi 5 läuft bei mir als kleiner Mini-Server und arbeitet zuverlässig und stabil. Alle Komponenten sind gut aufeinander abgestimmt, das Netzteil wirkt hochwertig und der Lüfter ist angenehm leise. Ein sehr empfehlenswertes Komplettpaket für alle, die schnell und unkompliziert mit dem Raspberry Pi 5 starten wollen!

Même si le Raspberry Pi 4 s'en sort très bien avec 4 Go je considère que pour la version 5, si on veut qu'elle dure bien longtemps, il faut investir sur du 8 Go. C'est un pari sur l'avenir. J'ai bien hésité car la différence de prix est quand même importante mais au final je regrette pas car cela va permettre des mises à jour voir une flopée d'add-ons sans que le processeur demande plus de place. Ce kit de démarrage iRasptek contient tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour une installation raspberry au prix le plus juste. Vous avez la carte mémoire SanDisk qui contiendra votre programme, l'alimentation en USB-C qui est le nouveau format du PI 5, un ventilateur à placer directement sur la carte mère et qui s'alimente grâce au connecteurs prévus à cet effet et un boîtier pour éviter de toucher par erreur des composants électroniques de la carte mère. Les boutons reset sont accessibles par l'extérieur du boîtier. Vous pouvez fixer votre carte mère avec des vis directement dans le boîtier mais l'ouverture par le dessus peut se faire par des clips sans avoir besoin de tout bloquer. Les vis sont fournies ainsi que le mini tournevis. L'alimentation ne chauffe pas lors de l'utilisation avec le ventilateur. Pour éviter les vibrations désagréables il y a même 4 pieds en caoutchouc sous le boîtier. Le dessous de la plaque d'aluminium diffusant la chaleur possède en plus des pads de mousse thermique pour bien aux différents processeurs qui génèrent normalement de la chaleur Même si le Raspberry Pi 5 ne dégage pas énormément de chaleur, le fait d'avoir un ventilateur vous permet d'y mettre des applications plus gourmandes. C'est plus anecdotique, un lecteur de carte micro SD vers USB pour pouvoir directement placer votre logiciel est offert mais je considère qu'il vaut mieux utiliser un adaptateur pour éviter les erreurs de connexion. Dans mon cas, il s'agit d'installer home assistant ce qui se fait assez rapidement une fois le programme placé sur la carte mémoire. Il y a d'ailleurs une clé usb C pour faciliter le transfert entre ordinateur et Raspberry ou téléphone. Avec Home assistant il y a normalement pas besoin d'avoir un écran de connecté, mais le boîtier possède toutefois des câbles HDMI pour vous faciliter la vie si rien ne se passe au démarrage. Je n'ai juste pas compris pourquoi il y avait deux câbles HDMI car un seul est suffisant. Je considère qu'il est plus simple de faire le paramétrage réseau directement avec une prise LAN puis ensuite de basculer sur le wifi une fois que tout est connecté. Pour les puristes on dira que de toute façon la connexion LAN est nécessaire pour au assistant et que le Wifi n'est pas recommandé car un gros consommateur électrique. Vraiment rien à redire sur ce kit qui vous permettra de commencer immédiatement votre installation. Le boîtier possède une encoche large au-dessus pour y ajouter une carte d'extension si besoin. Super produit à un prix correct sinon on considère que tout est inclus même avec la carte micro SD haute vitesse d'une marque réputée.
