Honestly, I've been using it nonstop since I got it - it's just that good. Very happy with this bag. I looked at all sorts of high-end and low-end bags and decided to give this one a shot - for price point, functionality, and design. Pluses: - The right number of pockets. I use the little phone pocket all the time; love that it's slightly fuzzy to protect my phone. It's that perfect, incredibly convenient stash pocket for the two items I carry everywhere - keys, phone. The chapsticks and the wallet live in the front zip pocket, which also has a key fob. - It stands up on its own! My last purse absolutely didn't do that, and I love that I can put this thing down on a seat next to me and it stands up. - The big compartment is surprisingly spacious. I'm someone who travels like a minimalist, but I love that the big compartment is big enough to throw a midweight layer inside - think a sweatshirt. I've put lunchboxes in there before. - It lays very nicely across my back and is very easy to access all the pockets when I sling it forward. - I love that it has a small profile and hangs nicely from a peg. I have a peg by my door where this thing gets hung up the moment I get home = no more lost purse! Minuses: - the fabric is slightly shiny, which I'm sad about. Would have preferred a truly matte canvas fabric. I do think this is more durable and weather-resistant than matte canvas, though. - I'm right-handed, and this bag is designed to go over your right shoulder - which means the phone zip pocket has you reaching across your body with your right hand to access it. I got used to it pretty fast, but would've preferred a left-shoulder bag. - It's a little bit industrial feeling. I made it better by removing the carhartt label and putting a little embroidery on the bag. - The hanging hook should be 1 cm longer; it can be difficult to get it over larger pegs.

Just works nothing fancy is why I like it. Very simple layout, 1 main,1 outer and 1 small fleece lined outer pocket. Main pocket has a sleeve for whatever tablet, ccw, other things and a small mesh pocket. Its a versatile sling and can serve as an edc function,plain old carry bag light hiker etc... I've only had a few days but compared to other slings I've had this one is most functional and versatile. Likes Simple design and looks which was hard to find amongst all the tactical military looking bags out there. I can wear it side saddle on my right shoulder and have it kinda bend around my hip for easy access to main compartment and items quickly if needed or let it ride on my back if taking a short hike. I also wore it on left shoulder but can only be slung around hip like a large fanny pack. I like having a large main compartment to put my things in after or during activities or at end of day. This allows me to just grab the bag and go inside and unwind and not have to look for my keys or phone. For me it satisfies the ccw transport law in my state inside a vehicle. While it can carry most things I don't keep any valuables inside of it my phone stays on me with my wallet. Supposed to have rain defender coating which is nice. I added zipper pulls simply by using a short piece of Paracord and a double overhand knot, it makes a big difference in accessibility ease. I'm thinking about using some Velcro inside for mounting a multi tool in the upper top small area which should have the key lanyard by the way. In summary this one works for me and should last a while with edc use. I would recommend it!

Have this gray one and a traditional brown one to replace my old one the zipper finally crashed on after millions of zips! Best bag ever! Fits lots of items (even a camera with my other crap), easy to carry and fits in compact areas. Comfortable to wear and slick/rustic/outdoorsy looking. Lasts a long time.

My husband and sons are all big fans of this brand. My youngest plays in a lot of club volleyball tournaments and my husband was carrying around a ridiculous Adidas soccer backpack thing. It was small, uncomfortable, and it was hard to get to any one item out because everything was just piled on top of each other. When I saw this bag I was so excited because anything we’ve ever purchased from Carhartt has been built to last. It’s a good sized bag and fits everything he needs and then some. There are so many little zippered pockets that will really keep your items organized. My husband is absolutely in love with it. What’s best was the price. I got this on sale for $44 and it’s worth every penny and more. It perfect for a man or a woman. For reference this bag fits his water bottle, my Owala and his wallet, keys, phone and various other little items. There is room to spare as well. Very happy with this purchase and I would happily buy it again for one of my sons.

Have been loving this bag! Decent for when on my bike but great for hiking. Has a little stash pocket perfect for keys or important items and has quite a bit of space for the size. Unable to switch the shoulder strap side if thats a feature you look for.

I bought and returned a bunch of sling bags before finding this one and using it on a trip to europe. This bag was just about perfect. What most lack is storage capacity. This bag is quite small and slim when empty, but expands to fit quite a lot of stuff when you fill it up. One day on my trip, I was carrying a camera, umbrella, a down jacket, sunblock, two water bottles, some small souvenirs, with room to stuff in some more things if needed. A couple days I got rained on and soaked, but everything inside the bag remained dry. Other sling bags quickly became a pain on my shoulder, while I have now spent many days walking around with this for hours with no shoulder pain — granted I refrained from packing it with anything too heavy. Fabric is very lightweight, but feels rugged and durable. I expect the bag will last me forever. Cons: My biggest issue with the bag is it is one sided. It has to be worn on your right shoulder. So if you have pain on that shoulder, a preference for your left shoulder, or simply need to switch shoulders once in a while, you really can't. The best you can do is wear it in front of you to sling it on the left shoulder, but it's not the best Front-sling bag because it's a bit large for that. I wish the design allowed you to switch which bottom corner the strap clipped on so that you can wear it on either side. Secondly, I'd like the hardware to all be metal and include some places to attach carrabiners. The clips on the strap are plastic. And if you stuff the pack and need a place to hang a Yeti water bottle, there isn't really anywhere to attach a carabiner other than putting it around the strap itslef. But I'd like some dedicated loops or rings. If you hang anything from the loop on top, it will offset the balance when the bag hangs diagnolly on your back. Lastly, It would be nice if the main sipper had a way you can put a lock on it. Like if there were two zipper heads or if there was a loop at the top you could lock the zipper onto. This was never a problem, but I would like the option for that simple anti-theft precaution.

Great bag to take out when bike riding, none of my items got wet while I was 30min out in steady rain. I was cold and wet but my gear was not. Also really great for a bag to take out with the kids, main compartment fits their little water bottles, snacks and jackets and the front portion and side is perfect for my stuff. Still looks real good after getting thrown around a lot too.

Pour le transport de petits objets personnels et aussi pour la bouteille d'eau , lors des sorties de la maison . Sacs très bien conçu et fabriqué en tissu souple et solide pour les randonnées pédestres dos du sac et bretelle de transport sont bien rembourrées .
