The gun oil was causing my plastic ones to get brittle and come apart leaving pieces in the barrels. A friend recommended these so I gave them a try. So far very pleased. After a year they still look and perform as new.

perfect for dry fire

I ordered 2 packs of 20 gauge AZoom Snapcaps. I received 1 pack 20 gauge & 1 pack of 12 gauge. Both excellent products. I didn't know they had 12 gauge. Nice surprise! Highly recommended!

Good Snap caps. They work well.

These work very well, thanks to the internal spring feature that extends the functional usefulness of the centered impact point over time. You can actually see the spring mechanism if you carefully unscrew the impact end of the unit and see the spring and guide pin. (Be careful, because the pin and spring can fall out.) The only downside is that, at least with the forged extraction clip in my Remington 870, the flange at the pin end of the snap cap will, over time get chipped away enough for the extractor to no longer get a solid grip. This is typical with all aluminum shotgun caps, and so the life span of these models will be determined more by their workability with extractors than with the durability of the pin-absorbing point.

I purchased both 20 and 12 gu so the review is the same. Lets face it ammo is expensive, these allow for safe, cost effective training. My shotguns are set up for home defense and I do a lot of dry fire and loading drills with them. These snap caps weigh near enough to a loaded 00 buck to provide accurate training. Both my Remington 870 and Mossberg 500 did not have a problem loading or cycling. The latter of the two was a new shotgun and for grins and giggles I did the initial 200 load/cycles with these, don't worry guys I still put in the range time before putting it into home defense service. Since these snap caps are made from aluminum they were not eaten up from the extractor, though there was scratching it was light and did not affect function. As stated earlier these will provide an more cost effective training tool for you.

New Review, after doing further research on the Web I figured out that you have to manually move the switch to the other barrel to get it to fire. Once you fire one barrel it won't automatically fire the other, like with live shells, you have to flip the barrel selector switch. Works as advertised now and well made so I am happy. One Star Reveiw - I have a brand new Beretta Silver Pigeon I and the gun fires one barrel with these Snap Caps in and not the other leaving one firing pin cocked. I switched barrels and Snap Caps which did not alleviate the issue. Basically useless for me except to keep one firing pin uncocked. I wonder if anyone else has had this issue? Is it the gun or the snap cap? I have fired over 100 rounds out of the gun with no problems.

Ok my son got me a new 20 gauge and I wanted to check it out, so I got a couple of snap caps to practice with better to be safe. I read a lot of reviews about A-Zoom 20-gauge precision snap caps, and they were one of the better companies, so I went with them and happy I did.

安価なプラスチック製は弾倉に詰まってしまいましたが、こちらの商品は詰まることなく回転します。 微妙な径の違いなのか、重量の違いなのか。 プラスチック製か金属製で迷う人がいたら、金属製を買っておいた方が安く済みます。
