6" Metric & English Scale Metal Ruler

I purchased this ruler to replace an old Grobet 6" ruler that I lost. It's identical to the Grobet 35.510 ruler, except it's now sold under the Mascot name. I like it because it's sturdy, narrow enough to fit in a pocket or pen slot, and works well for making quick sketches for my classes.

Is super small and the number don’t really show well

The combination scale is a great tool. It would be nice to have a clip on it for your pocket.

Six inch stainless steel rulers are cool. You can stick them in coffee cups with all your pens and pencils. No more trips to fish around in the desk drawer. I had a sturdy old one, K&E I think, from school days, but I couldn't find it. It was made of a thicker, non-flexing gauge steel. I wish this bendableThinkFast replacement rule was about twice as wide and twice as thick, but it'll suffice.

bought this to use with sharpening stones to sharpen the backs of plane irons. It works great.

I bought this ruler because it had english and metric units on it and I'm generally satisfied. I've seen better rulers out there but this is my go to. I keep it in my pen pocket and use it for straight lines and quick measurements. I do wish the reverse side had inches in 10ths marked on it and perhaps a conversion chart from fractions to decimals but overall it's good.

Made by Mascot. It is stainless but not precision made. Etched graduation is coarse and thick. On my specimen there is even a small blemish: 2 mm long curved line etched on the scale. If you run your nail along the edge you feel it is not smooth. If you look carefully, you can see the roughness by naked eye. I compare this ruler to a tool grade same ruler made by General, that costs about $10.00 or three times more. If price is important to you, and you look for the cheapest product there is, you may be satisfied: it serves the purpose. If you like perfection and nicely made products that you watch and use every day I advise against.
