My father was from Hong Kong, when I was a kid he bought this kind of Chinese candy for me, I remember they came in a beautiful box and the taste was unforgettable, the peel and citrus flavor were making my mouth so watery while I was eating them, so juicy and moist yummy! but for years didn't have Chan Pui Mui until I came to USA, found it in an oriental market but I was so disappointed, the candy it's dry and sometimes feels like I was chewing pieces of dirt or pits in it. I finally bought this product from this vendor in Amazon, they're not quite as the ones that my father used to buy for me, but they're delicious, moist and very good, I'm paying almost double the price of the one sold in the oriental market but it's worth it, just bought 2 more bags.

I grew up eating this preserved plum and absolutely love it. It’s not too sweet and a little tangy. It has a small seed so be careful. I was happy with the product and I could tell that it was freshly made. Packaging was perfect.

Just received this big pack of Chan Pui Mui this afternoon after taking a long walk. I cut open the pack and unwrapped one of the plum candies eagerly and popped the dark moist morsel into my mouth and experienced instant memory of comfort! It's been a lifetime since my mother pushed one of these yummy fruit candies into my mouth whenever she made me drink a bowl of bitter Chinese herb medicine. I had forgotten these Chan Pui Mui's completely until I went on Amazon a couple days ago to reorder my usual jar of Sweet Li Hing Mui's and to my annoyance, found the price had went up an unreasonable amount. So I searched around for cheaper brands and found these preserved plums instead. I am so glad because these fruit candies do not have tons of salt like the Li Hing Mui's, therefore are better for my health. I am going to buy these from now on because they taste really great and are good for my digestion! Thanks Amazon for providing easy means to purchase my childhood favorite treats!
