What is the diameter of the base pole as well as the diameter of the umbrella pole that goes into the base pole?

Hello, There were no dimensions in the directions given. There are two poles. The upper pole measured at 6"..the bottom pole measures 7". Hope that helps.

No, it does not come with deck screws. I use the weights with sand inserted.
