Fun game but bug died
We had a blast with this game all 7 times we played it and then the hexbot cockroach stopped working. thinking it was maybe the battery; we replaced with new. Unfortunately, this did not solve the problem. So now I am trying to figure out how to replace this piece. I am unsure if this is a known problem or not. It was enjoyed so much I would definitely be interested in where to find the nano bug used for this game.

Fun for all ages (even cats)
I can't remember where I first saw this game... but once I did, I knew I had to get it for my wife (who HATES cockroaches). I don't have a stellar track record picking out games, but I broke that streak with this one. Everyone enjoys playing it. Whether it's just my wife and I feeling silly... our college age daughter and her friends... or guests with small children. Its enjoyment seems to be universal. Even our cats love it.

~~ Skill, speed and a little chance ALL required for this FUN game! ~~
PLEASE NOTE: This will take an adult or older child (teenager) a few minutes to assemble BEFORE you can start playing. Everything you need is in the box and once this game is assembled it can stay in the box which is definitely an added bonus. Instructions are included and PLEASE make sure you put the utensils in the correct positions as shown. They click in place and not designed to come off at the end of each game.Aim of the game? To get the bug to go into your food compartment of which there are FOUR to choose from: fish, cheese, chocolate and bread. If less than four people are playing, blocks are included to block off up to two entrances. The size of the box/board is approximately 16 3/4" x 11 1/2". Size of bug is 4 11/16" in length. How do you get the bug to go into your food? You roll the die. On that die there is a fork, spoon, knife and three question marks. If it lands on a specific utensil you can only rotate the said one. If, however, it falls on a question mark you can rotate whichever utensil you desire. The aim is to block the ant going to your competitors but it is definitely not as easy as it looks. Speed does play a part in this game so for younger kids could cause some frustration. The bug? It just moves around at random in the area it is being allowed making a clicking noise. The LR44 battery required is provided. Our daughter purchased this for her young brother's birthday and it has been a definite HIT! Would highly recommend for those of you looking for a new, fast paced and exciting game. The first one to get 5 tokens is the WINNER! Happy playing, Liz

ANOTHER RAVENSBURGER HIT!!!
Wow! This is an amazing game! I have been buying games for my family for 30+ years. One of our all time Ravensburger favorites is Labyrinth which I played with my kids when they were little and now play with them on occasion as young adults. Ravensburgers "Bugs in the Kitchen' is a new favorite of the kids that i watch in my in home daycare. I watch little kids who are between the age of 3-5 so I had my doubts about this game being appropriate for them. But this game was a huge hit. Be sure to follow the instructions in setting up the board since I had thought I was "smart" enough to do it without reading them which resulted in some loose pieces not fitting properly. Once I explained to the kids how to play it took them only a couple of rounds before they caught on. Of course the youngest ones enjoyed watching the bug running around more than actually playing the game but they were able to participate by rolling the dice and moving the silverware piece. The older kids actually were using strategy to figure out where the bug was going to move to get around the maze. They wanted the bug to land in their section of course and they thought and rethought (sometimes out loud) about how their move would effect the movement of the bug. The game arrived from Amazon quickly and we have already played it multiple times in the short amount of time I have owned it. The board and pieces are sturdy, as is all of the Ravensburger games, and I expect for it to last a long time. The bug has a replaceable battery so not problem there. This is a great family game for adults and kids to play together. Additionally it could be played solo and still be lots of fun! I look forward to using this game for many years to come.
