The smart mini projector exceeded my expectations with its compact size and impressive performance. It delivers bright, clear images with HD resolution, making it ideal for both home entertainment and business presentations. The built-in smart features allow seamless streaming from popular apps like Netflix and YouTube without needing an external device, which adds great convenience. It also connects easily to smartphones and laptops via Wi-Fi or HDMI, offering a versatile range of options.

I’d say that the projector itself comes in pretty handy when trying to go to sleep and play content from my iPhone to the projector. I usually stream via the apps that are already installed, albeit there’s a whole workaround that I have to do in order to AirPlay using my iPhone or iPad. The quality is what you would expect (value for your money) as well as the portability if you wanted to use this anywhere in your home. The only real downside is the software that they use that’s a bit outdated, other than that, it has great value for what’s it’s branded as. If you’re looking for a small portable projector that you won’t be messing too hard with and keep it within an enclosed and safe environment, it’ll work great. Would recommend pairing it with an external cable (lightning to hdmi adapter if you have an iPhone like myself) so you can stream what you want without any hardware/ software restrictions!

Wow this thing is amazing especially for the price. The picture quality is great, my walls are textured which is creating a bit of a blurred effect so don't mind it in the video ill get a screen later. The only issue I had is I couldn't get the autokeystone to work and had to fix it manually. The kids think its way more fun than the tv I think its a great way to not have a tv in my living space and even better than that having outdoor movie nights once the weather gets better.

This projector surprised me . I didn’t expect it to be that good. The picture /video is so clear and sharp. It’s so easy to install and connect to WiFi. It’s portable and easy to move around . Perfect gift for anyone.

I don’t like this product. I have an Android box that I’ve been using about 2 years on my devices. TV’s, other projectors and laptops. I’ve had no issues. With the device I CANNOT connect my Android box to it. That was the first bummer. So I have apps on my phone that I can pair to anything i need it to in order to watch movies. Hulu, Netflix, Max, Disney+, Prime, Paramount, Tubi and Pluto. I’ve been able to successfully watch these on my android box and stream them from my phone to the projector. This one let me stream like 2-3 apps out of all of them. Second bummer. Then I tried to explore the app and found that it had an update available. Okay, cool. I thought it would allow me to fully view all of my apps. Absolutely incorrect. Update was probably the worse of them all because now I can’t pair the 2-3 lil apps it did let me watch from my phone. It glitches. Moves slow. Tubi is weird. Normally movies play next that’s related to what you just seen. You’d get about 5-8 related movies playing after that movie ended. If you don’t choose within 20 seconds, Tubi will select the first movie they set up for you. This projector plays the same movie you originally picked over and over and over. You could physically click another movie and it will play what you originally selected. You have to exit out of the play mode and click all the way out to start up another movie versus the app and it deceive working correctly where the next movie would just play. Returning product and would not buy again. I have to do too much just to try to be comfortable with it. I’ll spend a little more money to get a better brand or something.

Pros: -Easily portable - has HDMI port so you can connect a gaming console or computer - is capable of connecting a phone to stream from - has built in apps (YouTube, Netflix, Disney, Hulu) but there are several apps you still can't get and would need to connect an alternative device - have tested on textured walls and ceilings and works well Cons: - There is no manual buttons or remote app, so if you lose the remote you can't use it. - The fan on it is soooo loud, even when it's turned off and plugged in. - the videos make it appear to have a smooth rotation and easily adjustable. In reality, it's not smooth and you have the option for the following angels: 0°, 45°, 90°, 135°, 180°. The angles are also subjective to what you have plugged in, with the cords, it's nearly impossible to get it pointing straight up. Overall, my biggest complaints are the lack of manual controls if you lose the remote and the noise. With those two alone, I wouldn't recommend this projecter.

This is a quick, easy to set up and fun little unit. I immediately projected the image onto the ceiling to see how large of an image I would get and it was to my best guess over 100 in across. It has an auto keystone feature which even my more expensive projectors don't have. I did have to turn it off because it was trying to Auto keystone against an uneven wall. But if you have it set up properly I believe the auto keystone would be helpful. It also has automatic settings to where you can project it onto the ceiling versus the wall at different angles and it will give you a wider or distorted perspective to fit those angles better. The speaker is good enough for what it needs to have to be functional. But if you have a small portable speaker system to go along with it that would be ideal. As a quick unit to plug and Play... To cast your phone... To connect to YouTube and other apps... To play movies and just an all-around fun unit, this seems to be a great option!

Several of the apps don’t work in the US. Hulu won’t let me log in because they access their apps from Japan. It says I need to be in Japan for it to work.

I ordered xgody gimbal3 projector but I have received hy300 projector, projector screen cast playing is good,but not in 4k, low sound,no Netflix, only 320p quality YouTube, no guaranteed, no customer care, at this price projector is ok, Bluetooth connectivity problem, ease of use,

I work in IT / AV so I know a fair bit about projectors. I bought this for a friend who has limited space at home for a TV. She was so happy! The image quality for such a small and inexpensive projector is great! I was surprised! It's bright enough at 1000 ansi lumens for home viewing. I'd happily watch a movie on it. The sound is good, for what it is. Although it's not very loud so you'd have to be sitting quite close to it - not always possible with a projector setup. Personally I would connect it to bluetooth speakers for a more 'cinematic' experience. One of the great things about this projector is that it comes with android installed so you can use apps on it. The netflix issues some users were reporting has been resolved. Which makes this a stand alone unit. You don't need to connect a firestick or your laptop or phone. Anything you want to watch you can stream natively from the apps within the unit. I went for this unit over another i found that had a higher, 1500 ansi lumens, output. but it didn't have the built in android operating system this one does. You had to hook that one up to something else - a firstick, your phone, etc. So this is a big advantage to a lot of people and was definitely the best option for my friend who favours convenience 😁. It's worth noting that this projector can also connect to your phone wirelessly and has HDMI and USBC inputs. It's maybe not the best choice for gaming via modern consoles - the latency isn't quite fast enough. But, at the price point, I would be amazed if it was. This unit it nice. It's cheap and if you want it as a stand alone unit at home I'd highly recommend. Hell - I want one now too 😅

El proyector funciona genial, es una solucion para ver la television en lugares dificiles, sin tener que hacer agujeros ni pasar cables. El sonido no es el mejor del mundo, pero si aceptable, se oye bastante bien en un ambiente silencioso, hace un pequeño ruido del ventilador interno, pero no molesta para nada. Lo tengo en la mesilla de noche y me duermo. En cuanto a la calidad de la imagen, no esperaba una gran cosa, pero al proyectarlo sobre un fondo blanco, me sorprendio gratamente, a mas oscuridad, mas calidad. Al ser android y tener la play store, no eche en falta ninguna app que tengo en mi smart tv. Por poner una pega,agradeceria que pensaran en el anclaje, ya que tiene en soporte la tuerca para fijarlo en un tripode, podrian en algo para fijarlo a la pared, sobre el cabecero, o al techo..., es algo que se agradeceria, al menos en mi caso

Ich habe den Gimbal 3 Beamer eher spontan gekauft, weil ich neugierig war, ob so ein kleines Gerät wirklich etwas taugt. Inzwischen bin ich richtig froh über diese Entscheidung, denn der Projektor hat sich als vielseitiger Allrounder erwiesen, den ich in den letzten Wochen fast täglich nutze, sowohl zu Hause als auch unterwegs. Was mich sofort überzeugt hat, war die einfache Einrichtung. Man klappt den Beamer auf, stellt ihn auf den Tisch und innerhalb weniger Sekunden ist er einsatzbereit. Dank Android 11.0 kann ich direkt über Apps wie Netflix, YouTube oder sogar die ZDFmediathek streamen, ganz ohne Fire TV Stick oder Laptop. Besonders praktisch fand ich das beim letzten Kurztrip: Ich hatte den Projektor im Rucksack, im Hotelzimmer einfach mit dem WLAN verbunden, an die weiße Wand gerichtet und direkt einen gemütlichen Filmabend gestartet. Keine Kabel, keine komplizierte Technik. Auch zu Hause kommt er regelmäßig zum Einsatz. An warmen Abenden habe ich ihn schon auf dem Balkon aufgestellt – Decke, Popcorn, Bluetooth-Lautsprecher dazu, und fertig war das Open-Air-Kino. Im Wohnzimmer habe ich mir mittlerweile eine kleine freie Wand freigehalten, weil ich ihn so oft verwende. Die automatische Keystone-Korrektur funktioniert dabei zuverlässig: Selbst wenn das Gerät schräg steht oder leicht versetzt platziert ist, passt sich das Bild automatisch an, das spart viel Zeit beim Aufbau. Die Bildqualität finde ich für die Größe und Preisklasse wirklich stark. Natürlich ersetzt er keinen 4K-Beamer im Heimkino, aber das native 720p-Bild wirkt trotzdem klar und angenehm, besonders bei Filmen oder Serien mit viel Farbe und Bewegung. Abends, wenn es dunkler ist, kommt das Bild richtig zur Geltung. Ich habe kürzlich eine Doku über Island geschaut, und die Naturaufnahmen sahen erstaunlich lebendig aus, ich war ehrlich überrascht. Einziger kleiner Nachteil ist der Lüfter: In sehr leisen Filmszenen hört man ihn schon, besonders wenn man keine externen Lautsprecher nutzt. Das hat mich anfangs gestört, aber inzwischen nutze ich meistens meine Bluetooth-Kopfhörer oder eine kleine Box, damit verschwindet das Geräusch fast vollständig. Besonders beeindruckt bin ich von der Stabilität der Verbindung über WiFi 6. Streaming läuft bei mir reibungslos, auch wenn mein Router nicht direkt nebenan steht. Die Bluetooth-Kopplung klappt ebenfalls zuverlässig, sogar mein älteres Soundsystem wurde sofort erkannt. Alles in allem ist der Gimbal 3 Beamer für mich viel mehr geworden als ein Gimmick. Ich hatte gar nicht erwartet, ihn so oft und in so vielen Situationen zu nutzen – aber inzwischen gehört er fest zu meinem Alltag. Ob gemütlicher Filmabend, spontanes Streaming mit Freunden oder Präsentationen im kleinen Kreis: Der Projektor ist handlich, schnell eingerichtet und macht einfach Spaß.
