This North Face field bag looks great, is well made, and appears exactly as listed. Pros: lightweight, durable material that can be easily wiped clean, multiple compartments, good quality zippers, can easily be worn in front or back. Cons: none I use this bag to carry belongings on short hikes. It easily fits keys, hand sanitizer, phone, gloves, snacks, bone conduction head phones, and small hiking wallet. I carry it mostly in front for easy access to my phone to take pics. There is a pocket on the back that allows for easy, frequent access to my phone without opening the main compartment. This bag is excellent quality and a great value! I prefer it to a similar adidas bag I own.

I have been looking for a bag this size with pockets in this style, and this bag is perfect, it is my favorite bag I own. It has three zipper pockets so I actually know where to find things, and it stays organized. It is very comfortable to wear and can be worn in different ways depending on your mood. I am in love with the burnt goldenrod color, providing a subtle pop of color that goes with my mostly neutral/earth tone wardrobe. The strap can extend very long, I don’t need to extend it all the way and I am somewhat overweight. The fabric feels very nice, and seems durable. I am so happy with this purchase, I feel like I have been looking for thus bag for a long time.

Love this thing, bought specifically for a trip to New York and wore it everyday, it fit everything I needed. But I also didn’t want carry a backpack all the time. So the size was perfect. It also has a back pocket that goes against your body to put valuables such as wallet, phone. Super comfortable and water repellent. Zippers are good quality and don’t get caught. Can fit like 4 books in the big pocket.

Purchased as gift. This bag is well made, durable and very convenient. The strap is adjustable, material has perfect weight to it, not too thin will last a long time. The construction is well thought out.

Larger than I was thinking it would be! Great bag to be able to carry extra snacks! Don’t recommend trying to use it for a concert or ball game!

I bought this bag for a trip to Europe as I was afraid of being pickpocketed while traveling. Although it is pretty expensive compared to other crossbody bags, it's Northface, you're most likely paying for the name not the functionality. But this bag satisfies both, it is not only pretty large and can store many FLAT things, but it is also pretty sturdy and could probably withstand being pulled by a thief if it really came down to it. Keep in mind that this bag is in no way a normal bag. It is longer than it is wide, meaning it is meant to store flat thin things, not anything bulky unless you plan on carrying Rubik's cubes around. This does mean that you can carry your wallet, coins, cash, passports, and important documents which is what I used it for and it worked great, but once I put a normal sized water bottle in it, it couldn't hold it without looking odd and feeling off. So overall, this bag is good for carrying important things, not for usual backpack items, but it is an overall solid bag I would trust.

I'm really into sling bags lately, and I have one that I use on a day-to-day basis, which is not always large enough for all of the things I need to carry. I decided to search for a somewhat larger bag, but I wanted it to be sporty-looking. I also wanted it to be large enough to use to carry snacks, a small water bottle, and other supplies for short hikes. When I found this one, I knew it would be perfect. This is such a good size that I can carry it on my errand running, but also use it for day hikes. I bought some carabiners to attach my 24 ounce water bottle to the loop at the bottom of the bag. It is comfortable, easy to adjust, and has plenty of space for all of my things. I saw in some other reviews that people were bothered by the "old" look of the North Face label on the bag, but I'm not bothered by it at all. I think it looks cute.
