I love my new Mountrek hikers
This is my second pair of Mountrek hikers. The first pair is still going strong after several years, but have a little more give than they used to. This pair seems sturdier and is slightly higher, but fits just as comfortably. I fully expect to get many years of reliable usage from them. I'm just glad I found the right pair in my size.

Durable boots
I use this boot for work outside in East Tennessee. This is my third pair. Great boot!! Will recommend these boots to anyone. Very durable!!

Falsely labelled.
I was pretty pissed off to find that they are made of leather, while being labelled on the website as "synthetic." Other than that, they are exactly what I expected. They're nice boots, waterproof, and have great traction and durability. They're just not animal-friendly.

Nice features - quality control problmes
the left boot was wider than the right , the right boot had a pucker in the lining at the toe end that rubbed my toes
