For the first few moments they work really well. They become very rough after a few hours of use. I think any small amount of dust starts to shave off their coating. At that point the friction becomes much worse than a cloth pad.

I wish I'd known sooner that dot skates were a thing. Reduces the contact surface area in a way that works really well with a glass pad, and since you only need 4 to 6 (at most 8) dots at a time, this set will last you basically forever. You can replace the skates on half a dozen different mice and still have some to spare.

These skates work very well. They were easy to install amd the eize is perfect. The smoothness is on another level. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Have tried multiple skates with the wallhack glass mousepad and these are definitely the best.
