NBA 2K25 PS5 Standard Edition

its a great game 🫠

Great

Awesome Game! worth the money, great service great series

As expected solid game, can be slow at times and get a bit dry after consistent play but overall is a good iteration in the long standing brand with changes to keep stuff fresh whilst remaining familiar

As described GS very happy

Good game and not difficult to play, recipient very happy with it.

As a long-time fan of the NBA 2K series, I was excited to dive into *NBA 2K25* on the PS5, hoping for some major upgrades. While this year’s edition does bring a few noteworthy improvements, particularly in the story elements, it still struggles to deliver a truly satisfying experience in some key gameplay areas—especially in the MyCareer mode. **The Good:** One of the most impressive aspects of *NBA 2K25* is its storytelling. The narrative in MyCareer is more engaging than ever before, with well-developed characters, immersive cutscenes, and a more dynamic storyline that feels like a genuine sports drama. The new branching dialogues and career choices also add a layer of personalization, making it feel like you have a say in shaping your player’s journey. This, coupled with high-quality voice acting and authentic dialogue, kept me invested in my player’s off-court journey more than in previous iterations. **The Bad:** Unfortunately, when it comes to gameplay, *NBA 2K25* continues to fall short. The core mechanics of MyCareer feel stale, and there’s a sense of déjà vu in many of the game’s interactions. The grind to level up your player is as tedious as ever, and while the storyline offers new flair, the actual gameplay experience in MyCareer matches hasn’t evolved much. There are still issues with AI behavior, making your teammates seem clueless at times, and defense feels underwhelming against certain offensive strategies. **Gameplay & Performance:** Graphics-wise, *NBA 2K25* looks stunning on the PS5, with incredible details in player models, lighting, and animations. However, visuals alone can't carry the experience. The same frustrations with unbalanced gameplay and sometimes clunky controls persist, especially in competitive modes. Online connectivity is still a mixed bag, with occasional lag that detracts from the experience. **Conclusion:** In conclusion, *NBA 2K25* for the PS5 is a minor step forward for the franchise. The story elements have clearly received some love and attention, making MyCareer a more captivating mode off the court. But on the court, it still feels like more of the same, with gameplay flaws that prevent it from being a truly great basketball sim. If you’re mainly interested in the storytelling, this year’s edition might be worth checking out. For those looking for deeper gameplay enhancements, it may not be enough to justify the upgrade. **Final Verdict:** A decent addition to the series, but still not the breakthrough we’ve been waiting for.
