I was not sure about this choice.
I was not too sure about spending this money for a 9 year old, who is just starting to play the sax. But seeing the look on her face when this thing came on; priceless. I may be silly for spending this money, but I am a grandparent, and that is my job. I am hoping this encourages her even more to pursue her talents in music. If it works, it is money well spent.

Church Solos
This is a gift for my friend. They do a lot of music solos at her church. She plays the trumpet so this will work well for her instrument and others instruments. Simply plug in the wireless receiver and clip on the wireless microphone to the instrument. Easy as pie! She and her church friends will love it!

Well built with great quality!
Looking for some commercial grade while picking this up for a try. It works surprisingly at this price tag. The pairing process is quick and easy and connectivity is great! So far so good.

Low noise, clear and warm sound.
ACEMIC UHF Wireless Saxophone Microphone System Easy to setup, good sound and competitively priced. Test: Quick vocal read test comparing the ACEMIC to an AMT Wireless Microphone Both microphone signals recorded simultaneously through an RME Baby Face interface into Logic Pro. ACEMIC – I was shocked at the sound quality from this mic considering the price, the sound is warm, low noise floor, but it is boomy with plosives, the pop/windscreen is needed to help eliminate that. AMT Wireless Sax Mic – the noise floor is higher than the ACEMIC, but the AMT is 21 years old, and the frequency is band now. The AMT is brighter, more detailed and has a certain presence to the sound. I’m also comparing a $700-800 mic to this $130 ACEMIC. Note: In the video you’ll hear the AMT mic first then the ACEMIC, you’ll hear the brightness of the AMT and warmth of the ACEMIC. No processing was done to the audio. We those differences noted, and I had both mics in front of me to audition, there’s no way I would pay $800 instead of this $130 ACEMIC. My ears don’t hear $670 dollars over this ACEMIC.

Works well and easy to use.
I tried out the ACEMIC ST-5 and it pretty much does what it says. Setup was simple, the clip holds fine, and the wireless connection seems steady. I’m not an audio expert and I haven’t used many other mic systems before, but the sound came through clear enough for my needs. From the picture you can see that I am using it on a didgeridoo, not a sax or trumpet. Since the bell end doesn't have a rim like these instruments, it was a little more challenging to get the position right. In the end it worked well. The battery lasts a pretty long time (at least for my usage cases), charging is easy, and I didn’t run into any big issues with the signal cutting out or alike. For the price, it feels solid and dependable. Since I don’t have pro gear to compare it with, I can only say that in "everyday use" it worked smoothly and gave me a clean sound. It’s nice not being tied down with a cable, and moving around without losing connection was a big plus. The only downside I noticed is that in really busy or noisy environments, the sound can lose a little sharpness. For practice, smaller spaces, or casual playing it seems just fine though. Overall, nothing fancy, but a good, straightforward option if you just want something that works without a lot of fuss.

Sehr gute Mikrophon
Sehr empfehlenswert.

Good but weak battery.
Bought this in June. Sound is great, easy to configure, but, i think the battery needs updating. Usually plays two 2 hour sessions then the after 3o min into my third 2 hour session the battery is done and needs charging. I am now in September and i am buying a new mic as i now have to charge after every 2 hour session. So, for a starter, and price, not bad, just cant be bothered to keep on charging after every 2 hours.

Ottimo
