Capacitor
My compressor quit running after 30 years or so, its an OLD Craftsman 30 gallon, and I was debating just replacing it. Took the covers off the motor and saw the capacitors were blown out. Replaced them and it starts and runs like new!!

The capacitor went out on my drill press, and this was an almost direct replacement. Drill press is back to normal, thanks.

Ideal replacement for old electric motor cap.
Can't speak to reliability or longevity as I just installed it today, but it swapped in on my ancient bench grinder with no troubles and the motor is running like a top now. Perfect replacement for my old blown cap with a similar rating. No complaints.

Get one for your toolbox
I like to have a few of these handy in my toolbox because they are something you see go out fairly often in many refrigeration systems. You really only need a small handfull of sizes since there is some give in the specs of most systems and they'll tollerate a bit of variance. I have to keep a lot of equipment running at my lab and these are very handy to have.
