originally I wanted to buy this is a bit of a novelty item to just play out loud in the garden to myself rather than bring out my whole amplifier and also the idea of playing by the beach just appeals to me but I’m an electric player and not acoustic so I needed to think of something better. Not only is the size Amazing it’s about palm size super easy to carry round and the battery has lasted ages since I’ve charged it, one charge has got me about four days of guitar playing (solid hours) and it’s not run out so far. I feel quite bad for some of the reviews that said the different settings didn’t work because all three of mine absolutely DO WORK and I’m so so impressed at the drive and the distortion coming out of that tiny little box. It’s got me playing more often. There’s no awkward wires and cables, which I usually hate. It comes with a charger for the device itself, but the piece just plugs in really easily. I play an epiphone SG so my Jack input is in the front. The build quality is amazing for the price and genuinely I thought about buying five more backups just to have different places. It amazes me how I’m thinking about this product now compared to when I first bought it as just a bit of a gag item. Absolutely love this super versatile thank you for making this.

Plugging this into my lap steel makes practice easy. No leads, no amp to plug in and carry. The little joyo lives in the guitar case. I can play with friends who are acoustic guitarists and not overwhelm their sound. It's not perfect; the clean channel is very quiet, the distortion louder and the overdrive very loud. The effects are basic and the promised reverb I cannot hear at all. But battery life is long and the sound is acceptable. If they upgrade it I would certainly buy another. At this price I won't complain. All in all I'm delighted with it!

I really like this handy little portable amp for practice. It's quite loud and clear for home use. Not all settings sound perfect, like Distortion. Maybe it's my guitar, but there are more than enough usable tones. I was very happy to find that I could connect and play backing tracks via Bluetooth while playing through the amp! None of the reviews I watched, or the booklet mention this. I'll probably get another for the road.

Better than I thought it would be. I like the sound and is easy to use. Very good to practice anywhere in the house. Very responsive too. Battery life is strong and hasn't ran out yet after playing for a few hours.

It's a great little device, I use it to amplify my hollow bodied guitar, just to get the sound effects that I am looking for, but when playing in public if there's too much background noise then it's not quite enough. It does produce very good tone qualities but for my purposes maybe 8 or 10 amps output would have been better, but a very good and useful bit of kit none the less . It's very easy to use, great for practice and good value. The physical size means that it is not noticed by the audience, it gives the appearance that you are playing acoustic but producing an electric sound, nor does it get in the way when playing but it's not going to create the heavy metal sound and as I've said it's a bit under powered for a lot of background noise.

This is an impressive little amp/speaker. I haven’t used the Bluetooth on it, but it’s a great little thing. Very portable, easy to use, different modes, adjustable. Plugs into my strat absolutely fine, but also comes with an extender, I guess for more awkward guitar shapes. It’s a great price too. I thought for that price, it’s worth a try! And it absolutely was!

Just what I wanted for playing at home, no more getting my amp out, plugging in and setting up. Just plug in the jack, switch on and you're away. The 5 watt speaker is fine and the 3 modes of clear, overdrive and distortion, plus volume and tone setting, work really well and sound better than expected. It's never going to replace even a small amp, but that's not It's function, it's about the ease of plug and play without the hassle of getting all the gear out. Ideal for travel too. It would have got 5 stars, but the only thing I don't like about it, is the lack of protective pads on the back of it. At the moment I can angle it so it doesn't touch my guitar, but if in time this loosens a bit, regular contact could damage the lacquer finish on my guitar. I've sent for some adhesive rubber pads to fix on it, which should protect from any future damage.

I really was sceptical but at the price a gambled. I bought this to save my son using his larger amp when noodling. Something small and convenient. I thought it would be a bit of a battle to get him to use this. It's been brilliant. The sound output and quality has been good enough for this to become the preferred amp for using at home. It's no where neer a bigger amount but that's obvious however the sound quality is easily good enough for a noodle. Good battery life and doesn't feel awkward when plugged in. Highly recommend. A great find.

This item works, seems well made, and nifty to have if you need some practice and can’t lug an amp around. It’s neat to use if you’re looking for a cheap guitar at a swap meet, or if you’re a musician traveling between parents and homes. It’s a good gift to give a guitar player, or electric sitar. I like the pink one, but sparkling pink would be even better.

Update a year later! June 2025. Had no t for a whole year and I own tubes amps but at 3am? Want to mess around for ten minutes? This is CLUTCH! I USE this a LOT. Anytime you're just thinking about playing for a minute ..boom plug this in turn it on, very little "commitment" needed and I honestly practice more because of this micro amp. It's really good just DO NOT OVERLOAD THE SPEAKER YOU CSN BLOW THIS UP. UPDATE! March 29th. I like this amp a lot revising to a 5 almost a year later. You never think about it, but it's PERFECT. It produces sounds from an electric for enough time for anyones' practice. Charges fast with USBC. Has REVERB that actually sounds good and the drive channel and distortion obviously don't sound good bc it's a coin sized speaker, but for what it is...amazing value, sound quality, build quality, battery life, weight, everything about this is cool. For $30? You can buy a spare cable that only does one thing or this which trust me, one day you'll get dragged to the beach or something. And you'll want something to do ...or you'll have a travel guitar with a dead battery....something, some situation you'll be glad you have this.y reason is, at night I can't be too loud and my quietest real amp is still unreasonably loud. With this, you can play a backing track on YouTube on the TV a d play along with the perfect amount of accompanying volume have this and it is broken, but Joyo seems to be taking care of me.. When it worked I liked it. . One thing I'll say is baby this thing, don't use the NT and play along and don't use the distorted modes of you can help it....I don't do anything abusive to it and money broke...but I believe Joyo is sending em another one or something, theyve been nice
