The media could not be loaded. My 3.5 year old is learning how to read and spell cvc words and I chose these as supplemental resource to help crystallize sounding out and spelling. Currently we are starting w filling out the short vowel sound and have not use the other set where the first and last sound (letter) are to be filled. This helps me know which letter sound she needs more help with. I also am planning on using these w my 10 year old who is having phonemic awareness issues and still has really hard time knowing the shirt vowel sounds. There’s so many cards that it should hopefully reinforce the short vowel sound. These are well made, come w 4 dry erase markers and a bag to keep it in. 100 percent recommend.

These are pretty great. The markers are solid but wipe off so easily. The cards are sturdy and good print quality. The ONLY issue was there was a manufacturing defect for two of the cards. They were transposed so the back didn't go with the front. I solved the issue with some white tape and the matching color marker. Child didn't even notice. Children are 4 and 2, and even the 2 yo is 'writing' the letters. 4 yo loves them!

This item came with a really large number of cards as well as four dry erase markers with built-in erasers. I tested a marker and eraser and it worked great, with no residue after erasing. I love that the cards are large and feel thick/sturdy. They're brightly colored and include a good number of CVC words. I was pleasantly surprised that the same words are depicted on different cards but with different letters missing on each-- for example, one card depicts a wig with only the letter "i" (__i__) and another card depicts the wig but only with the letters "w" and "g" (w__g). If I'm being nitpicky, the only thing I don't love is the addition of the letter X in words like "fox" since X technically makes two sounds (/k/ + /s/). I think teachers who work on reading, parents/caregivers, and SLPs could all make use of this set.

Great card quality, great visual quality. They’re buried durable. They’re fun and the kids love them.
