It's working as described so far. It worked with the USB cable and with batteries. I plan to purchase 2-3 more....

I just purchased the Madame Leota crystal ball at Disney World without the $49.00 Disney lighted base. I knew Amazon would have a good base at a lower price. I am not disappointed. The concave model holds the crystal ball firmly and the lower height is better than the Disney model. I love the color changing modes and the brightness of the LEDS. I highly recommend this well made product.

Works great but, I needed the concave one. That's my oversight. Nice little product.

I wanted to be able to display my new ornament as safely as possible. I ordered 3 different options: a clear ring, a 2 piece slotted arc option and this one. This is the option I will use, although I wish it looked a little less plastic-y, but I do like the look. I selected this one because it had a concave surface for my glass sphere.

It seemed great and worked nicely for about a month and then developed a short circuit in the battery case, so it works either inconsistently or not at all. The only way to keep it going consistently is by keeping it plugged into my computer. However, I don't want the object that I'm illuminating to be next to my computer; it's supposed to be on my mantle. Right now, I got it working again by taking off the battery case cover and twisting the battery a certain way, but I can only get it to do one option - rotate colors. The option changer button doesn't work. Anyway, for the short time that it worked properly, it was very pretty.

I was pleasantly surprised with how much I liked this product. I received a glass globe from work but hated the base that it sat on. I want to light up the glass globe and found this while searching Amazon. It gives you the option of putting almost anything on the top to light it up. I like how easy it is to either pick a solid color to stay on as I prefer blue to match my keyboard but it also does red, green and white. You can also have it go between the colors and when it does that it kind of melts from color to color so for instance it will be red and then go into a orange then a yellow and so forth. Easy to use, great size and bright colors. I give this 5 stars all the way!

This is the second one of these lights I've purchased. The first one died literally after 6 weeks, just long enough so that I could not return it. I bought a second one thinking that perhaps the first one was just a lemon. The second one just died this morning again literally at about 6 weeks after I received it. I know these lights are inexpensive, but if you buy one you will just be throwing away your money. While they are beautiful when they actually work, this defective product should not be sold or should be sold with a disclaimer that it will last less than two months. BTW, both of these were plugged into the wall for power, not batteries, so it is definitely an issue with the unit itself and they were only occasionally used so it's not like they burned out.

Very disappointing, after a cple weeks using it, it turns itself on in the middle of the night, wouldn't recommend this product at all
