Good for occasional use — maybe to fold into your suitcase when you go travelling for occasional hikes or sthg. Not terribly useful for daily use because internal space is too small and there aren’t enough different spaces to put stuff in. It is shower proof but not sturdy or structured enough to be able to access contents during a flood without wetting everything.

A very lightweight, waterproof, bum bag. Does exactly what it says. Spacious capacity, and padded body-side for extra comfort. Folds into itself if you need to store it in a tiny space. Strap is long enough also to wear as a crossbody or shoulder bag. Highly recommended.

I really like this bum bag. It has loads of capacity, despite it's small size. It's well made from nylon, which makes it waterproof as well as quite strong. The buckle clips together with a very positive click and the waistband is very easy to adjust. It is long enough that you could even use it as a cross body bag, rather then around your waist. The zippers are good quality and there is a ring attached to the outer ones, to make them easier to pull. The bag has a reasonably sized pocket on the front and there is a small pocket inside of the main compartment. When folded down, it all fits back into this small pocket. The back that rests against your body is padded, but the rest isn't. There are a couple of small things I think could be improved. I know the idea is to make it as small as possible when packed down, but I think it would benefit from being just a smidge wider. It's a real effort to get it packed back into the small pocket and I think even another few mm would make quite a lot of difference. I found the easiest way is to pack the bag bit first, then stuff the waistband in after. If you start with the band, it becomes a lot more difficult somehow. The bag also has a very crumpled appearance. I'm not sure if this is on purpose, whether the creases will fall out as it's worn, of if it's just the material it's made of, but it looks a bit scraggy. For such a nice quality bag, it's just a bit incongrous. However, overall it's a nice well made bum bag that will be very useful when going off on short walks and I don't want to take a normal bag or backpack.

As we might expect from Swedish kit created for the outdoors, this bum / crossbody bag has been very thoughtfully designed. I was first pleased by the colour. Deep marine blue, so attractive but not about to look soiled quickly, as happens with lighter hues. Next, it is extremely lightweight (91g). Most bumbags are made from thick synthetic fabric. This one is made from ultra-thin, shiny material. I possess many bumbags, large and small. For running, which requires carrying as little weight as possible, I would definitely choose this one. At first I thought the waist strap far too long. However, I now realise it gives me the choice of wearing the bag cross-body, which for walking I prefer. Anyone struggling with their weight can be reassured that this belt will fit the largest waist. There are 3 zipped pockets, one main, one rather small pocket inside, giving a secure place to keep credit card or cash, and one medium but fairly shallow on the front, which I would use for items I need frequently, such as lipsalves and handkerchieves. The zips have nice, sturdy, largeish metal pulls, but the external 2 zips have generous added loop pulls. Clearly, Swedes realise that people may need to operate zips in very cold conditions, or even with gloves on. There is some padding in the back, but very slight. This means that carrying anything hard like a phone might be uncomfortable. However, this would be more of a problem when using this as a bumbag and running. Much less annoying when using as a crossbody bag and walking. The only total no-no is the idea of folding the bag in to its own pocket. Many products do offer this feature and imo it is never really a good idea. In this case the bag did arrive stuffed into its pocket and I had a prolonged struggle to get it out. I was even afraid I was going to damage the zips in the process. Why would anyone want this feature? The bag is so slim, it would easily be slipped in to a handbag or small rucsac or even a deep trouser pocket just as it is. The current price of £16.99 seems to me reasonable for this unusual and high quality item. In any case, you have Free Returns, so you can check for yourself.

I am not a walking, outdoor type but, I am walking for re-habilitation purposes at the moment, intend to continue and this is just perfect. At first I thought the belt was over long and fiddly but I was wrong, the belt works just fine, not elasticated but, adjustable to size and can also be used as a cross body bag. I wanted to walk completely hands free and so have only used it on my waist. The colour of this is an attractive blue, it is quilted on the back, it has various useful pockets in which to carry a phone and other small articles of paraphernalia. It is of a nylon, waterproof fabric. It appears to be of excellent quality and it looks it. For the price you get what you pay for and this is far superior to other, similar bum bags I have seen and I recommend it for hands free walking, travel, holiday as much for it's looks as convenience.
