I didn't know how much a toothpaste could make me feel good
I decided to give this a try after using three jars of tooth powder. In the last year, our house has switched from 'organic' and 'non-toxic' toothpastes sold at stores and online that STILL contain not-so-good-for-you ingredients. I've been on the hunt for toothpastes and have been so disappointed from the dozens we've tried. Then I tried tooth powder (Dr. Christophers). For an intro to tooth powder, this was a great brand. It took some getting used to but then I loved it. Then I tried activated charcoal tooth powder and even my kids switched over (except for one son who kept using Dr. Christophers for the flavor). THEN, I saw the reviews for this and decided to give it a try. WARNING: this is spicy! On first use, it was extremely spicy to both my daughter and I and tasted utterly gross, we decided it was too much and that I'd return it. I gave it another go a couple days later and became hooked. I don't know how just one more use can do that, but here's what I love about it.. oh, and for some reason, the flavor and spiciness really died down. I guess my mouth has adjusted and it doesn't taste gross anymore and I can easily tolerate the little bit of spiciness that I can still detect. The main reason I love this is how it makes my teeth feel. I thought tooth powder was great (haven't tried Uncle Harry's yet), but this, wow! My teeth, after maybe three or four uses, feel thicker, stronger, less sensitive and the cleanest I have ever felt. Better than after I go to the Dentist because, while they polish and clean my teeth really well, I walk away feeling like my teeth are a little stripped, more porous and vulnerable. After I brush now, they feel so good and so glean and smooth, it's almost unbelievable. Except that it happens twice every day. I actually look forward to brushing now. If you're concerned about the cost, don't be. IMO, a little goes a long way and this toothpaste is worth every cent. It's not expensive, but if you're comparing it to some other cheaper product, I wouldn't. Apples and oranges. And this toothpaste will probably save you money at some point with the health of your teeth and gums being so good after a while. I also use the remineralization liquid but have nothing to report on as of yet. These are my own honest opinions, I did not receive free or discounted product (I wouldn't mind a discount, though(: ); I paid full price and I do not know anyone who works for this company. I am just so amazed at this stuff.

Big improvement on conventional toothpaste
I am very happy with this toothpaste. I have no problem with the flavor but if you are used to conventional, foaming toothpaste it may take some time to adjust. My mouth feels so clean though I wouldnโt care about flavor anyway. It has a little salt in it which is good. If you wonder what a clean mouth really feels like, brush your teeth with some straight up pink Himalayan salt or sea salt. Thatโs clean and fresh but abrasive. Does it remineralize? It doesnโt hurt and not hurting your mouth is half the battle. I think that it helps to protect my mouth and enamel, which makes me feel safer. It is overpriced, however. I donโt know why itโs necessary to ask for so much money. For that reason I donโt use it everyday. Instead I found another similar product that I use. It costs half as much, has high quality ingredients, but no salt. Thatโs okay though. I will watch for the price to come down in Uncle Harryโs and if it doesnโt I think the other similar brand will be good enough.

Good!
Really like this! Doesnโt irritate mouth and cleans teeth. Just need a tiny amount that I scoop out with the flat end of a clean, new floss pick so as not to contaminate contents with bacteria from the tooth brush. I have the Cinnamon flavor. Love it!

Interesting product
I liked the toothpaste and it made my teeth feel very clean. However, the texture, taste, and mouth feel are definitely big adjustments if you are someone who struggles with texture. It almost tasted salty and it definitely threw me off when I first tried it. I think this could be a great product for someone who can tolerate the texture of the product, but unfortunately for me I tried it twice and I donโt see myself being able to get passed the feeling of that texture on my teeth.

Best toothpaste Iโve ever used
I love this toothpaste. Itโs more like a clay than a paste. However, I feel it really cleans my teeth and gums better than any other toothpaste Iโve ever used. The taste is fresh and contains good ingredients. Iโve used this for 3-4 years now and I will never switch.

Clumps and Cinnamon Burns...
NO LATHER? CLUMPS? Uncle Harry's was my first attempt at a all-natural toothpaste. I bought it almost 1.5 months ago, using it about twice daily, I still have a little bit left over. The thing I had to get used to the most is brushing my teeth with no lather. I do love lather! I associate lather with cleaning and where there is no lather I don't know if it is cleaning (except with bleach). This toothpaste doesn't lather in the least. Instead, it forms "clumps" that rolled up and fell out of my mouth as I brushed. I liked to think that the clump-forming was the action of the toothpaste trapping the bacterial plaque and pulling it out in clumps. Delicious. HOW DOES IT TASTE? I can describe the taste as salty, minty, and "earthy" with a strong "burning" sensation of cinnamon. And when I say burning, I mean it stings my tongue to the point where I almost wanted to wash it out of my mouth immediately. It has a burn similar to strong antiseptic mouthwash. However, I brush and bare it, because I am an adult and I know that sometimes I have to experience a bit of pain to gain something beneficial for my health. In other words, this toothpaste is not for babies. HOW MUCH DID I USE? I used a pea-sized amount for each quadrant of my mouth. A pea-sized amount for my whole mouth just didn't seem like enough to me at all, because as soon as I finished one quadrant the paste seemed to either dissolved or rolled out of my mouth in clumps. DID IT MAKE MY TEETH FEEL CLEANER? I am used to having my teeth feeling polished and clean constantly; so I can't say that this toothpaste made my teeth feel any cleaner than they normally are. I believe the "clean" feeling is attributed to my brushing technique, my time spent brushing, and efficiency of my toothbrush. I own a Sonicare Flexbrush Platinum and I brush my teeth for two minutes in four quadrants (twice per session, 4 mins total), Whenever I go to the dentist, the hygienist comments about how clean my teeth are. I am not bragging, I am just making a point that the toothpaste didn't make my teeth feel cleaner than they already are. I tell you what does make my teeth feel extra polished and that is plain 'ol baking soda and water. VERDICT I do like the toothpaste and I will purchase again. Maybe.

Two Stars
It's extremely expensive for what it is. And it's not exactly cinnamon.
