Review: Great book - I really like the cover and the story I felt he was battling with depression Review: Great book! - This read is highly recommended. His take on existentialism is thought provoking. The physical book itself was slim so it fit in my large pockets and my purse. It was easy to have it along with me to read.

Strange, Thought-Provoking, and Unforgettable
A haunting and surprisingly emotional story that explores isolation, identity, and how people treat those who are different. Metamorphosis is unsettling in the best way and stays with you long after you finish it. Short, powerful, and deeply thought-provoking.

Badly formatting, get a different copy
A weird little story that doesn't really go anywhere. In fact it's quite a sad ending. There's no explanation about why Gregor wakes up transformed into some kind of beetle (never defined what exactly) and it's written as a narrative from his perspective and what is going on in his mind until the last couple of pages, which is a little strange. I read this because it was a famous book, but I don't understand why. This particular copy has serious formatting issues, and a lot of punctuation errors, including wording - which I am unsure is the translation.

No title on the spine
Interesting book, a short read and a classic. I wish the binding was a little smaller in format and was thicker, as this publication does not have the title printed on the spine, which is not helpful for finding it on the bookshelf.
