I intentionally waited a few months to make this review, just in case something ended up happening, and I’m glad to say that this device has exceeded my expectations.The touchscreen surface is very user friendly, and the app is just as easy to set up as it is to use. As Levoit’s largest unit, it is fairly heavy and big, and the wheels on the bottom only allow it to move from left to right, so be prepared to lift it when it comes time to clean the unit.The unit functions fantastic, it’s great at pulling pollutants out of the air, the allergies of both me and my dog have improved significantly since installing this. The air quality sensor is also top of the line compared to my other Levoit units. It gives exact measurements of the PM1.0, PM2.5, and PM10 in real time, while the Levoit Vital 100s & 200s (while still great air purifiers) will only rate your air quality out of four categories.The filter lasts a long time, and the performance in air purification and odor removal is consistent across its lifespan as long as the pre-filter is cleaned regularly. Other than that it’s pretty low maintenance. As someone who’s purchased both generic and brand, I do think the genuine Levoit filters are worth the extra cost. If you manage to find a generic filter that fits, I can almost guarantee the odor removal will be subpar when compared to the OEM filter. They go on sale every now and again, I recommend picking up a few during the sales, which can easily last you a couple of years. (Picture attached is a filter used for 10 months next to a new filter straight from the box)The quality of life improvement since installing air purifiers in my home has made the cost well worth it, and every purifier is from Levoit. Great brand, and they made a great product with this one. If you have a large space to purify, or want to splurge on a fancy air purifier for your bedroom, this is the one.

Update: Levoit has offered to replace the purifier due to the particulate (pm2.5, etc.) sensor issue. Their warranty and service is great, and addressed my original concerns. Overall, the purifier is still great, and the sensor (when working) is very useful (adjusts fan speeds automatically). Most purifiers don't actually have a real particle sensor, and use a much cheaper gas sensor. The gas sensor is not as useful, because it's not as accurate (look into MOX sensors to understand why) and purifiers primarily reduce particulates via the HEPA filter. Note that this is a generalization for most people, so I recommend getting a better understanding of indoor and outdoor air pollution to tailor to your needs.However, there might be two concerns. 1. the sensor readings might drift over months or years due to dust accumulation in the sensor unit. This could be partially addressed by using a compressed air duster and vaccuum to gently clean it. 2. The purifier may occasionally/rarely be stuck giving the wrong reading (always showing 98-99%, see below), but this can be addressed by unplugging the unit for some time to let it discharge fully. It's unclear to me what causes this and if it's still happening to newer units.---Be careful with this as it can mislead you to believing you're breathing in clean air when you are not. Also, the auto mode will NOT work due to that!I've tested this multiple times with other air quality sensors around me and another dedicated air quality sensor from IQAir. The sensor on this device only ever shows 98-99% (~3 ug/m^3 pm2.5) even when I put it outside on a poor air quality day with multiple sensors around me showing ~20 ug/m^3 pm2.5. That's a 7x difference or roughly from an AQI of 10 vs 60!

This air purifier hit many features I was looking for, a higher CADR, actual pellet charcoal filtration, with a quieter running speed that is still efficient. I appreciate the app and all the features and love the way you can angle the fins on the top to direct the outflow of air. It looks great, has a nice looking interface with colored rings and information center, easy 'one touch' buttons and simple design that looks great and I love the light detection feature! These are my favorite features so far:Flexible angle finsPellet charcoal filterWashable Pre-filter - This can help extend the life of the main filterVery easy filter replacementQuiet fan operations on lower speedsFlat profile to easily fit along wall spaceColored Rings-Info Center/Easy one touch buttonsLight sensor to automatically turn off the display and all the lights and turn it down to a low fan level (was a big selling point for me)Easy connection to wifi with a nice interface on the app if you want to see the actual PM counts (PM1,/PM2.5/PM10) and or control other features.My only cons so far are:Wheels on the bottom only turn in two directions - to the left or right (makes it awkward to roll around or pull out from a wall)Filter is all one piece for carbon/HEPA-like filter (this isn't a true HEPA filter) I've seen reports that sometimes this type seem to have better airflow, but you need to replace the entire piece rather than just the charcoal odor part, which they suggest could be 12 -15 months, however I suspect the charcoal part won't last that long.Replacement filter price - currently ~$99 USDOverall, it's a nice seemly well built unit which has helped me sleep better, isn't too large and seems to helps with capturing dust and pollen particles so far.I had purchased one for the bedroom area and liked it so much I bought a second unit for the living room/kitchen area after considering other brands and the Levoit 600S, but I am happy with this model.It's a little pricer than I would like to see but still a nice machine which I hope will continue to give many years of service. I have a long haired cat and expecting a puppy soon so we will see how these units handle the pet hair/dander/odor.I cooked fish this evening and ran the unit on turbo for about 20 mins, and when a family member returned they said they couldn't smell the cooked fish anymore. So that's another win so far!

The best option for air filters, larger rooms. Did a ton of research - only digs were no side handles (not really an issue) and wheels not casters (again, not a issue). We have 3, 1 for the basement, 2 upstairs. Performance has been great. All on the app. Pop on medium or high for cooking, odor gone. For the recent Canadian fires, we had all 3 upstairs, on high or medium - absolutely no smoke smell. Nope - not cheap - but used the Amazon Prime points, and a gift card. Value s better when you grab on the discounted sales. And don't fuzz out on the filters ... my pals "made for" did not do as well on the smoke - be careful if you do sub out.

I’ve been using the Levoit EverestAir for a while now. In general, the air purification performance is very good—quiet, strong airflow, and the auto mode works well.However, there is one major design issue that is very frustrating in daily use if you have kids.The Child Lock (Display Lock) can only be turned on through the VeSync app. There is no physical button on the device to enable or toggle it, which already makes it less convenient than other models.The bigger problem is:If you use a scheduled on/off function, the purifier will automatically turn back on with the Child Lock disabled. That means every time the schedule runs, I have to open the app and re-enable the lock again.This defeats the purpose of a child lock in a household with small children, because:* Kids can still press buttons after each scheduled restart* There is no way to permanently lock the device* And no quick hardware shortcut to fix itFor a flagship model, I expected better integration between scheduling and child safety features.If Levoit could add either:* A persistent child lock setting, or* A physical button combination to toggle lock directly on the devicethis would easily become a near-perfect purifier.Right now, the air cleaning performance is excellent, but the software design around child safety feels incomplete.
