Microsoft Surface Pro Flex Keyboard with Pen Storage Alcantara Keyboard for Surface Pro Copilot+ (11th Edition), Pro 9 and 8, Windows 11 Copilot+ PC, Black

When I first bought my SP, I wanted to make sure I had the best experience possible. It is an expensive keyboard, sure.. but I find myself using my SP A LOT with the keyboard detached and on my lap (ironically as I write this review it is on my lap.) It is very sturdy and pairs instantly with the SP. Copilot isn't an absolute necessity for me, but it is cool to have. Battery life is great and the keyboard feels well when I type. The wake and sleep functionality works great as well. The pen tray is a HUGE addition to the selling point. I feel better knowing that my pen is safely secured inside the device when not in use. I strongly recommend spending the extra money. The keyboard is worth it!!

I purchased the item because it matched the Surface Pro, it paired perfectly, and has the ability to connect without attaching. However, and this is a big one, it is really cost prohibitive for the average user, which is really a shame, because it does have some very useful features, such as non-attachment connectivity and use. I really wish Microsoft would reevaluate the pricing.

I have both the regular keyboard and now this flex keyboard. Although I like the regular keyboard, this flex keyboard definitely is superior. The haptic trackpad is better. The pen is always available for use (although there are strengths to the hidden pen in the regular keyboard). It is nice to be able to use the keyboard attached or unattached using Bluetooth. The tablet recognized the keyboard right away and connected it to Bluetooth. It charged correctly. Thus far, I have no problems using it connected or unattached via Bluetooth. It is black, so it does not match my tablet color, but the black looks good as a contrasting color to it. I hesitated to purchase it because Amazon messed up my initial order for the regular keyboard, (and the tablet), and they both got sent back to Amazon undeliverable. But this keyboard order happily came without any problems and actually came early. Also, those who complain it does not come with a pen, it tells you in the description that it has a place for the pen, not the actual pen itself. Do your research. That is why it is less expensive than the pen model. You must already have your own pen. Also, I was able to purchase a keyboard cover specifically for the Flex keyboard to protect it.

This is actually a fabulous tablet, but the power supply brick failed within a month. I called support, and they told me the "supplier" would contact me within 48 hours. That was a week ago, and I've heard nothing. Fortunately, the power supply from my previous Surface works with the new one, so I can still use it, but it is highly disappointing that Amazon doesn't follow through on support issues.

Its nice to be able to disconnect the keyboard, but the surface on a stand and have a portable desktop setup anywhere you go. It is pretty pricy but it gets the job done. The battery lasts all day and more, but I always recharge it at night with my surface. The build seems a little off still with the Alcantara, but as long as you take care of it, you should be fine.

Connectivity Issues have seemed to plague it, but recent updates have made it much better, I really like being able to remove it, it’s definitely more flexible than the non removable version.

Works perfect and will save you a ton of money when you catch them on sale. Same keyboard from M$ is almost 500$ under the guide of "Business Edition" I bought both and side by side there are no differences. Compare stats they are the same thing.

I love this, but it’s definitely too expensive to have the issues I’ve experienced. It’s very easy to use and integrates well overall, but I’ve had recurring problems with connectivity and the battery draining faster than expected. I’ve also noticed that it struggles to charge properly when it’s connected for long, sustained periods. The design is super flat and sleek, but a bit more brittle than I would like considering the price point. Aesthetically, though, it’s beautiful—exactly what I purchased it for. I wanted the full, holistic Surface experience, especially as someone who primarily uses Apple products, and this keyboard completes the look and feel I wanted. That said, the user experience still needs work. The connectivity quirks, the feel of the hardware, and the minor performance issues make it feel more like an expensive toy than a robust accessory. I don’t regret buying it—I wasn’t going to own the Surface tablet without the matching keyboard—but the premium price definitely sets certain expectations that it doesn’t fully meet.

Excelente producto, me encanta. En general es de muuuuuy buena calidad, la construcción, los materiales, todo, se siente verdaderamente de alta calidad todo. ¿Por qué dos estrellas? Pues muy premium y todo pero el teclado no se carga automáticamente cuando lo conectas, tienes que estarlo reiniciando, apagandolo y conectandolo a la surface en vez de que el teclado se cargue por si solo, no se si sea un bug u otra cosa pero incluso en foros aparece este mismo problema. 🤷🏻‍♀️
