I've used this several times . I hate taking out the ironing board. I have a desk in my room. I do put a towel underneath the mat because without it it get condensation underneath the mat because of the hot iron and the use of the steamer. The towel helps with that and protects my desk. The mat allows easy ironing without it moving about. Good buy.
