Chamois Cream

I had a chance to use the product, and it worked as advertised. I was suffering from chaffing at my 70 plus years of age that I never had been bothered with in the last 60 years on long rides of over 40 miles. I simply applied the stuff to my liner pad and put my shorts on. Went on a 40-mile ride and nothing, so I kept going, and returned home after doing a 64-mile ride and still no chaffing. While it isn't greasy it does leave a stain on the pad which washes out. While it didn't irritate my skin, depending on the person there is always a possibility someone else could experience irritation. Easy to apply, and it lasted for my 64 mile ride, it probably would have lasted longer. I researched a bunch of different ones of these types of chamois creams, then I went on Co-Pilot and according to it the Assos was the best one. Is it the best one? I don't know, this was my first time using a product like this, so I can't say from personal experience that it's the best product on the market, but I can say this, it worked, and because it worked, I'm not going to experiment and buy dozens more only to be maybe disappointed, so I'm sticking with Assos.

This product is excellent. I’ve ridden four consecutive days in the humid Florida weather, and I haven’t had any issues at all.

I've tried others, but this is the best chamois cream I've used. Perfect for long gravel rides of 5+ hours in the saddle. I've made multiple reorders of this great product. It's pricey, but worth it for the comfort.

Works great! My husband lives it. He’s an avid bike rider and it really helps to prevent shafing and sores.

Initially, feels a little cool on the skin, not a cheap buy, makes long distance rides tolerable, I used it for years now. The item was packed in a plastic bag, apparently not a good way to ship it: the lid cracked.

I put a lot of miles on my bike, ride outside in Texas throughout the summer, and have found that for me personally, this is the only cream that really helps prevent saddle sores. It's not as thick as some of the others, but that's actually what I like about it. No strong fragrance either.

I've tried all sorts of chamois friction solutions and this stuff works the best IME. Long lasting, the package is larger than some competitors, and along with the post ride gel you can keep saddle sores in the past. I put it in long hours and a great deal of hard riding, both on the trainer and outdoors and this stuff works. Also washes off pads easily. 5/5
