Yes. I do my instant oatmeal in the bowl in my microwave every morning.

I would say yes to a can of 12 oz. Or so (a regular can of chili).

I have not used them in the oven yet even though it says oven safe

Exceeded expectations

These dishes exceeded my expectations. They are nice and heavy and the patterns are beautiful. I was a little worried to order dishes off Amazon. I wasn’t sure they would arrive in tact but they were packaged really well. I ordered 2 boxes so we could have 8 settings. We’ve gotten lots of compliments on them!
