This is the best comfortable chair for feeding mothers & even for aged persons who are 50+

daughter has been teething and although there are toys and medication to give for pain she wanted comfort from me and my husband. This rocking chair made those night so much more comfortable

I did a TON of research on all of the glider & ottoman sets out on the market (at least at all of the major stores). I priced Target, Walmart, Babies R Us, Buy Buy Baby and of course Amazon. This by far seemed like the best deal for the money. You can spend as much money as you want on this nursery item but chances are if you're reading this you're like me and you can't fathom spending that much money on a glorified rocking chair. The great thing about this piece is that it is affordable and functional- not to mention very comfortable! It is also very stylish and matches our chestnut colored furniture perfectly! (we ordered the cognac/beige set) The cushions aren't super thick but they really are very comfortable. Shipping was very prompt and the box was in good condition. Assembly was very easy and took only about 30-40 minutes. The longest part is cranking the screws into place with the little allen wrench. There are very few steps and instructions are simple. I did notice that the arms didn't completely line up with the holes but once I put all 3 screws in place and tightened each one little by little, it all fit together just fine. It is now in our nursey and we have spent a ton of time rocking in it. My wife is now 38 weeks, 3 days pregnant and loves rocking in it. She says it's super comfy and she can see herself spending a lot of time in it. Not bad for $149! Update: 12/11/11 -- We have had this set for over 8 months now and we rock our son in it EVERY night before bedtime. The cushions and rocker have held up VERY well! No problems whatsoever. We absolutely love this set and are so happy we purchased it. Plus, you can't beat the price (no tax and free shipping)! Update: 7/11/12 -- This set has held up super well! We still rock our son in it nightly. The only signs of wear are the normal stuff: 1) the seat cushion is "slightly" flatter than when we purchased this set 15mo ago (but it's still comfy, I'm being nit-picky here by trying to be specific about the "wear"), and 2)one of the ties on the back cushion (which ties the cushion to the chair) came off. It was more our fault than anything because we were trying to pull the cushion up the chair back without untying the ties. Not a big deal and you can't even notice. Plus it doesn't affect the function of the chair whatsoever (which is still perfect). The chair & ottoman still work great, no squeaks, no broken pieces- totally a great purchase- and if for some reason this set breaks after this review, I would STILL purchase again. Highly recommend.
