I purchased a similar extension from the local pool supply place only to find out it was too large for the 125 hoses I use for my pool and heat pumps. I ordered these and they worked perfectly lay. I love the clamps and how easy it was to tighten them down without a wrench or screwdriver. Two thumbs up

At first, I thought that it wouldn't work, because the ends seemed to be the exact same size as my hoses. Frustrating at first, I finally just pushed hard enough to insert the ends and it fits great. I don't think I will even need the tape and clamps (really good clamps with butterfly screws) that were included. This takes a 1 1/4 inch hose and connects it to a 1 1/2 inch hose. A good addition to my pool supply closet.

Used this to repair an old vintage shop vacuum hose. I have had the vacuum for 34yrs. I bought it in highschool. I use it to clean my smoker. Its used to suck up the ashes of the wood pellets from inside the grille.

The fittings fit well and are a durable thick plastic that allows for the flexible hose to slip over the lip easily on our best way pool. I used these to attach the vacuum hose to the filter. They worked well with no leaks.
