The audacity to profess your true self is a virtue. Moreover, the transparency to outwardly proclaim a significant shift in the sentiment you once held so sacred is both courageous and compelling. It’s a theme that underlines Underoath’s new album ERASE ME, the band’s much-awaited awaited eighth studio album, and first in a decade with their original line-up. The result is a deep, dark and defiant collection of tracks, and their boldest statement to date. ERASE ME is not just an album, it is a defining moment for a band already held in such high esteem by both fans and their peers, delivering on the promise of music and visuals that pushes the boundaries of the genre. Review: Extremely underated metal/rock album - This is an extremely underated metal/rock album. It has a good mix of electronics and drums/guitar modern with all the ear candy but it's also real music with real instruments not some techno crap it's the best of both worlds. Some tracks are very heavy and some are slower/quiter some are slightly popish and some fall somewere in-between all of those. "In motion" is definitely my favorite off the album and "ihateit" "it has to start somewhere" and "bloodlust" are also very good the other songs are also really good but these 4 really stand out. Lyrics are very deep and not surfacey at all. Vocal style and musical style is vastly different from the bands older stuff. This album got me into the band and some of there older stuff is good, but I definitely like the sound/lyrics off this album a lot more in comparison. This is definitely my favorite album from any band overall. Review: Awesome - Awesome cd I love it

This is Underoath all grown up now. I would expect a departure somewhat from their earlier material. I have had this in my CD player all day since i got it in the mail this morning. This album has to grow on you i felt. The first listen I was kind of disappointed. I had different expectations of what the new material would be like. Around the 3rd time listening it really started to grow on me. The lyrics are what i would consider a strong par of this material. This is not the old underoath that you might be expecting it is the new grown up UnderOath. This is a great CD but many of you will dislike it because of the new material. Give it a chance it is really good. This is not coming out of my CD player for a while.

An unexpected return
Opinions on this record have been all over the place, and I can totally see why. Their fanbase relies very much on their earlier work and this is something completely different and new. A lot of hate its received is from how "radio friendly" some of these songs are, reminiscent more of the last Bring Me The Horizon album than They're Only Chasing Safety. I went in to this album with an open mind, knowing it wasn't going to be the same band I grew up with singing along with all my hot topic friends. I didnt care for it, I dismissed it as completely forgettable. But I spent time with it, and it grew on me. Yeah, theres still some filler on here, and this is far from their magnum opus, but it's still a decent rock album and a pretty interesting reinvention of the band. It wont end up being one of my favorite albums this year, but it's still worth checking out. The vinyl itself is pretty good. No sound issues and I love the neonish yellow color of the LP.

The boys are back!!!
I love this album I've listened to it five times since I downloaded it last night. The album is great every song is Underoath and on some they've added a few different elements but man it's so good. The lyrics are amazing and the musicianship is top notch. I just can't put it down. My favorite songs are It Has To Start Somewhere, Ihateit, Rapture, On My Teeth, Bloodlust and I Gave Up. Spencer and Aaron both sound amazing and you'll be singing along and loving every second! Buy this album!!

Outstanding album
Regardless of what others say of this album, it’s honestly good. Sure it’s different from their previous works, but what do you expect after such a long break? Some of the member’s other projects can be heard (as obvious influences) on this album, and the songs are nothing short of great. In case anyone is wondering, I ordered this on vinyl and my copy ended up being the 180G Neon Green variant.

Great comeback!!
I think after Define the Great Line, this is Underoath’s best album. If you are a fan is a must have.

They Return with a Matured Sound
This record is far better then some are giving them credit for. It still sounds like Underoath and for me, I believe it’s a natural progression. It also sounds great on vinyl. Give it a listen and see for yourself.

Solid!!
Awesome album! Waited a long time for a new album by them. Great to see the original drummer back as well. This album is a good mix of old and new. A true fan will enjoy it very much. Also it sounds amazing on the wicked 180g acid yellow vinyl. Worth every penny!!

Super album Underoath
