GIGABYTE B360N WiFi (LGA1151/Intel/B360/CNVi 802.11ac Wave2 2T2R Wi-Fi/Mini ITX/DDR4 Motherboard)

I bought this for the mini-itx build that I did for my mother. She's not super tech savvy, but she sells a lot of things on eBay and needed a reliable machine. This motherboard definitely does the job and more so. It has nearly all the features of a standard ATX build, aside from the single pci slot. The wifi works VERY nicely. The router in my parents home is on the third floor and the computer is on the first, but signal strength is still easily 4/5+. I paired this with an i3 8100, 8GB of DDR4 ram, a 128gb SSD, 1TB HDD, and a coolermaster 110 case. Even though I used this in a simpler build, I would say this mobo would be a great fit in a mid range gaming machine as well. Paired with an i5/i7, 16GB of ram and a 1050 - 1080 gtx, you'd have a formidable little machine.

This motherboard is great for a number of reasons. If I were to rebuild the computer I am currently using to type this message, I would buy this exact product again at the price I paid ($99.99). There isn't much to say about this motherboard. It is a mini-ITX form factor motherboard that supports the latest (Coffee Lake) Intel processors. The main features that sold me on this particular product were both the price point and the fact that it has built in wifi. This is a great feature for small form factor computers as there isn't a requirement for added hardware bloat and expense. The only complaint about this product is that Windows, by default, does not support the wifi adapter on this motherboard. You need to install a separate driver from the Gigabyte website. This is not particularly difficult, but it does have some challenges that might slow down a non-tech savvy consumer or someone who cannot access the internet without an additional wifi adapter. I do not have any comments about some of the feature on this motherboard (chipset, etc) as they are unimportant to me. This product did fulfill the my needs as well as any product could. I would buy this again.

This is very affordable B360 board. Installed it a few weeks ago and had zero problems. Had to install some drivers manually, but they are easy to find. On the down side, I've been using USB for audio output for years, so I'm used to zero noise. Here, I'm using some very cheap PC speakers, and they are picking up a lot of noise. I could only guess that good headphones will pick it up too. Still I would rather invest in audio equipment then in board with good analog output. Can't even tell that is possible :).

It took two days to get this MB to work with my brand new Samsung 860 Evo 1TB drive. New PC build would not boot to the new drive; MB would recognize the volume but would not boot for some reason, even after updating the BIOS (uefi) and loading the correct controllers from the manufacturer disk. I installed windows to another (Western Digital) ssd and it booted up first try, but would not work with the Evo. Finally used a program from my IT guy to clone the install to the Evo and it finally worked, just frustrating. I'll spend more next time for a higher end brand for my next build. Overall, good fit for my MicroATX build, like the black coloring, but a pain to get working for me.

Has everything, low price point, only thing missing from high end MOBOs is overclocking. Have made me small gaming rig with these: - i3-9100F (at $75 price point, can't beat it) - 700W Silverstone SFX PSU - Hybrid GTX 1070ti GPU (runs bellow 60C) - 120mm EVGA AIO (runs bellow 60C) - Fractal Era ITX case (yes, it fits 2x120mm rads on top) - 16gb DDR4 ram - 256 GB NVME SSD & 500GB SSD All new, except GPU, went with just above $600 and it is amazing little, quiet, cool machine. Had to invest little bit more on Noctua and Bequiet fans

Used it for about a year, then it died suddenly. Worked well before that.

What else can be said, it's a gigabyte board that handles a large amount of intel CPU's. Mine came with a very new bios revision so I didn't even need the Celeron that I ordered to boot this up. Currently running intel 9900ks, with 32GB corsair predator pro ram. This board does not support anything faster than 2667mhz ram even on custom settings, so for me I can't use the full speed of my ram. But given the hit or miss QC on the Z390 mini-itx boards I really had to pick something that I can trust to boot. Fan connectors are in a decent position, all I/O is in acceptable positions.

Nowhere on the box or in the description does it say that this MB requires Win10. I've been able to get most of the drivers installed by outside means, but I can't get the Wifi working, and that's the only reason I purchased this board.

Excellente carte mère, avec une connectique extraordinaire pour du mini-ITX, il y a tout ce qu'il faut pour beaucoup de cas d'usage. Pour montrer à quelle point elle est complète, il y a même un port pour installer une bande LED et gérer les couleurs (personnellement je n'en ai pas l'utilité mais c'est pour l'exemple). Pour ma part elle sert dans ma station de travail, intégrée dans un boîtier aluminium chromé type Mac mini avec un i3-8100T (4 cœurs @3.1Ghz pour 35W TDP) et 16GB de RAM + SSD 240 GB et une alimentation pico PSU. Tout ça tient dans très peu d'espace et ne chauffe pas (que ce soit au niveau du processeur ou du PCH de la carte mère) et demande une faible consommation électrique. Ça tourne très bien sous Ubuntu 18 avec deux écrans, aucun souci de reconnaissance du matériel ou autre. Les 3 ports ventilateurs de la carte mère me permettent de gérer le ventilateur CPU + 2 ventilateurs de boîtier grâce à la fonction smartfan du bios, c'est le silence royal! Rien à dire aussi du côté de la carte son qui fait le job! Je n'ai pas testé la carte WIFI ac + blueetooth car j'utilise la connectique Ethernet mais je suis quand même bien content d'avoir cette possibilité si besoin!

Meine Empfehlung bekommt es, weil es die perfekte Grundlage für einen Hackintosh ist. Einfach einmal bei YouTube nach Technolli suchen ;-)

Once installed and running with all the up-to-date drivers, this board is rated an excellent buy. However. patience is required to achieve a satisfactory build, particularly with reference to the fitting of the backplate. It required several attempts to set flush and furthermore, the board itself had to be repositioned to ensure that the rear outputs (keyboard/USB2/HDMI) were useable. In actual usage, USB2 slots are still fiddly to use, simpler to fir in a 'skinny' connector (USB stick) over a regular USB dongle(keyboard). The HDMI slot also requires gentle persuasion to accept its connector but is a secure fit once completed. I have docked a star from "Easy to use" rating because of this.

Works great for my pfsense build. However the WiFi adapter isn’t recognized by pfsense which is no fault of gigabyte.

Tut was es soll. Bei mir in Verwendung als HTPC. Insbesondere hat mir die Lüftersteuerung gefallen. Das Board ermöglicht im Bios, d.h. ohne Treiber o.ä., das einfache Anlegen von Lüfterkennkurven (Temperatur zu Lüfterdrehzahl) per interaktivem Diagramm, top für leise Systeme!
