This thing is an absolute TANK!
My father has been on the hunt for a good electric grinder that not only makes consistent end product but can also handle the stickiest of sticky buds without getting gummed up and difficult to move. Iโm very pleased to say this K5 grinder by Kactus Krusher checks off all those boxes and many many more! Function: The grinder uses a milling plate on top that grips the bud and forces it through a die plate that comes in various hole sizes for your preferred grind level. This method eliminates the need for interlocking teeth you see in a traditional grinder, which is the major fail point in those designs. The device flips open where the two plates meet with a latch and hinge, and this is where you load the product to be processed. The kit includes a brush to clean off the hole plate, and he used a small paper towel with a dot of rubbing alcohol to wipe down the upper mill plate and never had and build up. Electric Motor: Dealing with arthritis and mobility issues, gripping a grinder hard enough to power through todayโs potent and dense buds has become quite the task for my father. This started the hunt for an electric grinders, but up until now they all fell short in the power market. If you didnโt pre-grind the buds, or put more then a 0.1 in the chamber, the motor would seize up and buzz. He tried one with the chain-ball blades but that just knocked the bud around the camber and left huge chunks when it was done. The K5 has an interesting milling setup that spins the motor and powers the upper milling plate, and you press down the plunger to engage the flower and force it through the lower die plates. THIS WAS HUGE!! Sure it did require some force, but the user just needs to push down with minimal weight and required no grip strength to get a consistent end product. We tried some 35% sticky almost tar consistency bud and it has no issues breaking it down on the medium size plate. The amount of force required to press down the plunger is negligible at best, and can often be done with one finger or your thumb if itโs very dense. Collection: After grinding the flower drops into the bottom collection bin that is magnetically attached to the upper portions. There is an LED that turns on when grinding is in motion you can see through the plastic, but itโs too dark to see anything inside and itโs really more of a gimmick. The added LED also means you have to pay attention when putting the collection tray back on since only two corners have magnets and the third is cut out for the LED. Finally following in suit to other grinders, there is a bottom compartment for the crystals to fall into which is cool to have - but in my experience I just scoop it up and top a bowl every not and then and wouldnโt be mad if it wasnโt thereโฆ I would just put the crystals in with each run rather then bank them over several to have a larger amount. Value: This grinder runs around $100 in most cases, and can be had on sale often. When you compare it to a $15 novelty store grinder it seems like a waste - but when you compare it to nicer electric grinders itโs actually on the lower side. Sure there are some electrics at half its price, but after wasting money on 4x different inferior electric grinders we found this is the only one he actually uses. Iโve seen other manual grinders with the similar milling method used, just without the electric motor, that run around $100+ right next to other high end/botique traditional teeth style manual grindersโฆ so in comparison itโs not too bad at all. Over view: In the end having the advanced milling style grinder that was easy to clean, easy to use, and didnโt require grip strength all paired together to make this K5 grinder one of the nicest, most innovative, and easy to use design that made it well worth its cost - even without the discounts! If you are having issues with difficulty using grinders due to hand strength, or sick of dealing with gummed up parts and donโt move right, this grinder is right up your alley! Just note - itโs on the larger side and really intended for home use and not something you will toss in your pocket and go but if you know that then this grinder is an A+++ buy!

A must buy for those with arthritic hands (or the lazy)
I had my doubts! I love my manual grinder, but arthritis has made grinding a bit of a chore lately. Started looking at options for power grinders. Don't want another AC appliance around my chair, so battery powered it is! Inexpensive ones are not well reviewed, and I know it's going going to require some torque to break up those dense flowers so I saw this one. Although a bit pricey (my wife says I'm cheap--I prefer thrifty) I took a chance. I must say that I am, at this point, 100% satisfied with the purchase. If it keeps on spinning for the foreseeable future, I will be elated. The packaging is great and the build quality is very good--it feels like a quality item in the hand. It has a bit of heft, but is still light and easy to handle. The catch basin is large and the magnets keep it on securely. The chamber is easily accessed by pressing the release button, otherwise it is very secure. This really couldn't be any simpler to use--drop (mostly) de-stemmed flowers into the chamber (not over the top), close the chamber, hit the power button and push down on the plunger. You'll feel it pulsating as the upper die forces the flower down through the cutter--just keep light pressure on it until you feel it "free wheeling". Reload the chamber and repeat! The fidget spinner feature is sort of dumb, but I have found myself playing with it, so who knows! The little LED that's on while the power is on is OK, I do find it helpful for seeing how much material is in the basin as I'm usually sitting in a darkened room. I find the noise level quite reasonable. My wife, watching TV three feet away didn't even notice it until I mentioned it. I've yet to see how long the battery life is. They claim a 5mAh battery, but who knows? It seems a little light for that number of cells--just my rather uninformed opinion. It does have to torque to take sticky flower and turn it into a nice fluffy grind. Although this came with small and large cutters, I've just stuck with the medium one that came in it. The fluffy flower works find for filling tubes and cones, which is what I mostly do. The speed at which this grinds is acceptable--it's not super fast, nor is it slow, it just takes as long as it takes (and is much faster that using a hand grinder). Any cons or improvements needed? The only change I would make to this, and I noticed another reviewer also mentioned it, is to either recess the power button into the device or mold a protective "fence" around it so that when you set the grinder down on that side the power button doesn't activate itself as it does now. Not a bit thing, but it might be nice on the next version. To conclude, if you grind a lot and your hands are tired (or if you're just impatient), this is a good buy. I'll keep my trusty hand grinder for backup, but hope I never have to use it again.

Awesome!
So far it's great! Seems heavy duty and grinds "herb" easily. I like the 3 different plates to adjust the size of the herb for different needs. It seems easy enough to clean. It comes with a 1 year warranty. You can also add another 6 month warranty by signing up for emails.

Well it was nice
UPDATE: They responded quickly to help fix the issue. They are sending a replacement, however I do need to pay shipping which is understandable since itโs been more than 30days. I guess we will see what happens. Mixed review here. I got it in March and absolutely loved it. Worked amazing and so much easier than before. Today beginning of August, the grinder part keeps falling down. Itโs not that old and for the price it should still be working just fine. It doesnโt get overloaded so Iโm not sure what the problem is. Really let down today.

Best grinder I've tested on the market no joke!
I don't give five stars willy-nilly on here, This is an essential piece for weed smokers. Not only does it do all the work for you but it loads quite a bit and I've overloaded it on purpose to see what it would do and this thing is a powerhouse! Not only does it grind your weed to perfection but it puts it in a container for you on the bottom and all you have to do is transport it into a jar. It's OneTouch everything easy to set up and it even comes with three style of blades. Not only do I recommend this I think this should be a standard grinder for every weed smoker. Do yourself a favor and go buy this because it's not that expensive and it's not lavish by any means This is completely sensible and completely mess free. I love my cactus cutter I just wish they had different colors! I was able to grind 28 oz in less than 20 minutes because of this thing. This product will make your life so much easier.

WOW++
At first I was afraid, I was petrified, but eventually it turned out to be an amazing grinder!!! It grinds really well and after a few days of use it didn't get dirty even a bit. Very simple to use and the battery holds really great, charged once since I got it and it's still on 80%. The only 2 remarks I can give the product creators for the future development: 1. Please make the ON/OFF button face inwards the device so when I put it on the table on the side of the button, so it won't turn on. 2. Please make the LED not stick out so much, almost broke it twice already. But overall, WOW.

Simple to use and motor strength
Man, this battery powered cannabis grinder is strong. Most battery grinder motorโs arenโt strong enough, but this grinder is. Its body is heavy duty. Whatโs better, itโs easy โ really easy to operate. Open the hinged lid and place your flower inside. Close the lid and push top button downward and listen to the motorโs strength. It literally take 10-15 seconds to complete the perfect grind. I used a small coffee bean grinder previously, but it was too fast and sometimes made a powdered residue. It was too fine. The new grinder is not cheap, but the grinder is a strong heavy duty body with an ultra strong motor. Itโs worth the money for the perfect granular flower with the perfect grind size consistent. O powder residue. Try it โ if you donโt like it return it.

Pretty cool grinder!
I like this grinder. It is a true grinder over a ripper or chopping blade coffee grinder. It's well built, looks great and has a decent sized collection chamber with a keef screen and 3 different sized grinding plates. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the unit could use a little more power. It blows right through a loose bud with no issues, but if you put a hard nug in it, the grinder bogs down and stops with just moderate pressure. Takes some getting used to breaking up the bud a little more and going slow with lighter pressure. But this is a minor quibble,

Excellent so far
It works great, almost too great.. it's hard to moderate owning this because it easily busts through sticky herbs and 5g capacity is reserved estimates in my opinion and from my moderate use.. already i've put over half a pound through it and still works as good as the day I bought it. The switch in the plunger has me somewhat concerned with longevity of it but you just can't press down too hard. I wish the switch for rotation was on the body not the plunger. Its a 2 handed operation regardless so why not have it on another face adjacent to the power button. Overall it is a great product and so far I recommend it.

Best electric grinder
I have been using this for a year and had to charge it once, but it takes a while. It has saved me hours of grinding, and it's great if you have hand and finger problems. It's never missed a beat and has been a lifesaver. Easy to clean, and the tray does well to catch heads, good enough to press into tiny bits of bonus hash.

Exceptional product
Near perfect product! Unfortunately I dont know how to contact the seller... The top looks like it's been pried open with a screw driver at some point. Its not a huge issue although frustrating being a brand new product.
