Worked great

I expected this unit to work well for my outdoor TV install. Unfortunately, it was impractical and poorly designed. It is positioned as an outdoor solution, yet is using indoor plastic wall-plate that overtime would get brittle and crack. In my case, it cracked upon install. Also, in order to fit the cable behind the wall-plate, I had to refrain from screwing bulkhead seal. As a result, my connection is not sealed, and with the cracked wall-plate, it doesn’t make any sense to use it. Good idea but poor execution.

This was easy to install. Looks good. Delivered as promised. Buying a second one.

Claims IP67 rating, wallplate is an interior grade plastic one and it did not include a gasket. Do not buy if you need a weather resistant or proof external kit.

I run an IP camera outside on a repurposed electrical box and wanted something to help with the water proofing, so I ordered this. I was surprised at how long it was and, ultimately, it did not work for me as the box was to shallow. That said, in certain situations, this would work well, but in many I suspect it is too big.
