Solid, dependable
Bought this lantern for giving out candies at Halloween and it worked great. Quick to charge up, easy to reach controls. Everything is easy to read, satisfying clicks for toggling on, which gives a bright white light, the next click is a regular white light, and the third click turns off. We ended up using this in our sunroom as we were quarantining a stray cat for the winter, and kept this light on all the time for him – it was on for literally months on end. It never failed, and worked perfectly regardless of temperature. I like the matte plastic that mutes the light, and it gives off a lot of illumination. Its never gotten hot or made me worry about safety. It is practical and very useful, and a carabiner on the handle lets you hang it everywhere. I think it is great for camping, for outdoor activities and I’m going to be buying more for our emergency kits. It’s not fancy. It doesn’t have special colors or high end features. But this is a great addition to your camping / emergency / utility kits that does what it needs to do and the price point is reasonable. Very happy with it!

Great Product-lots if ligy
Definitely a great purchase! Bought them After Hurricane Helene hit our area and I was without power for a week. Most recently had a bad ice storm that came through and lost power for 8 hours, into the evening. They're very bright (with a few different light levels to choose from. The charge lasts quite a while- in 4 hours of use they only went down by one bar. And, they are small and easily stored.

Wonderful & Waterproof
Love it! If you are looking for a more muted, opaque light, not a hit you in the face like a flashlight this is perfect. So light and waterproof. I hung it from the top of my tent during a storm and it was leaked on it, but fine. I will say be careful when recharging because the rubber plug that you pull up to recharge is connected to an inside opening. Make sure all the top rubber is pushed in tightly. Battery life is great for my use. I keep on low, rotate with 2, to recharge every 12 hours. Most often they don't even go out. P.S. I don't live in a tent but I put one up for my stubborn feral cats in the winter. So I actually use daily, lol. Love so much I ordered a 3rd for a backup.

It's a good value for what it is
To start - I'm not complaining, this was only ten bucks. But reading the reviews had me convinced I was getting something nicer. It's smaller than expected (my fault I guess, they do state the dimensions). It's bright enough to hang from your tent and see what you're doing at night, but it doesn't throw light very far. It was only marginally helpful, for example, hanging it above our food prep area outside, and trying to cook at night. The battery life also isn't that great. It'll get you through a weekend trip if you use it sparingly and/or stick to the "low" setting. If you fall asleep with it on "high" it will be dead by the time you wake up. That's OK, it's rechargeable which is a big plus, and we travel with a power bank anyway. It can stay lit while charging so you can always hook it to a power bank for extended life. It's also water resistant which is nice if it gets left outside in the rain. Practically indestructible too. The way it's constructed - all the electronics, including the tiny battery, are contained in the black bit on top. Everything else you see is basically just a frosted white plastic jug to diffuse the light. It's mostly empty space. So... there's plenty more room in there for them to use a bigger battery and/or additional LEDs. But again, it was 10 bucks so I understand why they didn't. As you push the button it cycles through the 4 modes. But... it's also smart enough, that if it's been turned on for more than a minute or so... when you press the button again, it won't cycle through the strobe and red lights, it will just turn off. Those borderline pointless modes are annoying and I'd hate to be blinded by blinking lights when I'm trying to turn the thing off. So that was really good design on their part to skip cycling through the modes for shutdown, once you've settled on one. Not unhappy with it but I'd probably just invest in a better one next time. If you wanted several of them (perhaps to light a path or for decorative mood lighting) and don't want to break the bank, these would be a good choice at the price point for sure.

High quality little lantern
Good quality lamp, last a good amount of time and easy to charge - came with charging cord. Highly recommend - very bright to medium bright (does not dim down a lot, so if you're looking for something that dims down low this isn't for you) but great quality over all

Nice Little Lantern
It charges quickly and lasts all night on the low setting. It is small and lightweight, yet bright.

Excellent lanterns
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I decided to get two of these for a little 3 day camping trip. These are bright! The highest setting is great for illuminating the entire tent to look for something or just because you need the light. We used two for the picnic table and played games easily and could read comfortably. We used them a lot over the trip and did not need to charge them. The lower setting is perfect for some mood lighting in the tent and you can still read. We did not use the red light or the flashing light except to check them out. The flashing could be great for some random tent disco perhaps. They seem with care that they will last a long time but we shall see. Great value and they work very well. Oh, they hang on hooks well.

Incredibly useful little light with a disco setting for fun.
This is a simple little light that works amazingly well. There are two brightness settings that you'll probably use. There's a white flashing setting that will probably annoy you, but maybe satisfy that rave/disco urge. Then there's a red flashing setting in case you are stuck out in the woods and need help. Can't think of another reason for the red flashing setting. It charges quickly and puts out more than enough light for us to use when the power goes out, or we need a small, simple light outside in the dark. It's a very nice size, a little bigger than a baseball. We really like it.
