EVO Box O' Bollox Texture Paste

After years of trying dozens of hair styling products that wound up in the graveyard under my bathroom sink, I happened to catch a brief mention of Box O' Bollox in a YouTube hair styling tutorial. There is almost no information about this product available online, but I decided to take a chance anyway and spend almost double what I normally would to see if this stuff worked for my fine hair. The bottom line is that this product is like a unicorn in that it provides incredible, long-lasting hold with a true matte finish. As those with fine hair can attest, it is almost impossible to find anything that provides volume and really solid hold without looking greasy and clumpy.My only complaint is that the scent isn't very good--it smells like powdery patchouli and it lasts all day. If they would change that, then this would be a hall of fame, holy grail hair product.

I purchased the $10/.5oz just to try it out knowing it was a terrible deal but not wanting to commit to a full $30. Let me tell you, this product is the best I have ever used. I've tried all different kinds of wax, clay, pomade, etc... Just about any product that claims to have high hold and low-shine but this is by far the best hold with very minimal shine. I use it in tandem with mousse and hair spray to ensure it is locked in. It is a little pricey but I think it is definitely worth every penny.

Product must be expired. It’s completely dried up. Not the texture I’ve known and used for years.

Love the product but wouldn't order in the winter again. The product was delivered and was frozen so had to thaw and didn't work so good

Wow! This texture paste by Evo is killer! High hold, tons of structure, low shine, high volume, provides awesome texture, tames the wispy fly aways and it thickens your hair. Great for short hair like mine. I used a little salt spray as a prestyler then blow dried, worked in a dime size scoop of the Box O’ Bollox and went all day without having to mess with it again. It’s not cheap, but worth its weight in gold. I highly recommend.
