Go the F**k to Sleep

Bought this for my cousin right after she had her first baby and she literally could not stop laughing when she read it. The writing is just perfect and captures that exhausted new parent frustration in the most hilarious way possible. If you know anyone who is expecting or just had a kid this is the move for a shower gift without question. They will love you for it.

Absolutely my favorite book to gift for a baby shower. It always puts a smile on a new parents face.

Super funny book.

This book is absolutely hilarious. Go The F To Sleep perfectly illustrates the struggles of every parent when their kids won't go to sleep. It looks like a friendly little children's book, but don't be fooled... This book isn't exactly children friendly. It's more meant for the adults. I recommend you pick this book up if you're a parent struggling with your little ones. It will make your day.

Hilarious for my bonus daughter who has a 2 and 5 year old!

This was a gift for a first time parents. I wanted to get them something that would be a fun reminder of the crazy journey they are starting. They loved this gift and were happy to receive it!

Sarcastic and funny and definitely an inspiration for the snarky book I wrote for my son. Great illustrations, but definitely not something you read to a child.

This is a book for every parent who has ever struggled to put their children down to sleep. Beautifully written, and the illustrations are wonderful, too. Funny as hell, but only for those who don't mind coarse language. A must for hip parents (or parents-to-be).

日本語版に興味があったのですが、内容が子どもに読み聞かせるにはどうなんだろう…という感じもあって、迷ってこちらを購入しました。 私は英語を音読するのが好きなので、こちらで満足です☆ 2歳の子どもは、内容には興味なく「ねんね、ねんね」と言って楽しげにページをめくっています。 でもやっぱりタイトルがキツいので、日本語タイトル「とっととおやすみ」という表紙を見ると、ついついそちらも購入したくなってしまっています。

Very funny!

This book is not for children although my partner's six year old niece got her hands on it and all she said was there was a bold word in it! The book is a must read for any parent who has had difficulty getting their children to sleep. Although it will do nothing to help except probably bring a tear to the eye from either laughter or recognition that they are not alone! The author's frustration leaps off the page and becomes more so as the book's 32 pages go on. A really funny, poignant read - my mother thought it was hilarious. The illustrations are beautiful and worth buying the book for them alone. Enjoy!
