One of Nitecore’s Best Lights!
I have been carrying and using this light for almost a year and it’s almost perfect. I was most drawn to this light because of its ability to use the supplied rechargeable battery pack or CR123 cells. I like the fact thats it’s so simple. Just two modes, high and low. Each having enough light to get the job dome. Very simple user interface, momentary on or full click on. No battery indicators, no charging port just super simple and rugged. The brightness and tight beam shape is perfect for me. 1800 lumens at max brightness (with rechargeable) is plenty especially when you consider the high candela. An added bonus is that 1800 lumens can run a long time without overheating making this light suited for all tasks and not just those requiring max output quick use like many of Nitecore’s other EDC lights. It does perform the EDC role well due to its small size and light weight but is also excellent for general daily use. I have no complaints or nitpicks (rare for me) and consider this light one of their best!

Screw Streamlight!
Carried a Streamlight for a while and liked it, but it had defects from the factory that Streamlight was nice and sent replacement parts for, but then those also failed within about 6 months of buying that light. I switched to a NiteCore MH10 after that because it was about the same dimensions as my old Streamlight and was also listed as an EDC light. TLDR on the MH10, good but definitely not an EDC light due to the fire button being on the side and constantly getting bumped on in my pocket. This popped up on my recommended products page a few weeks back and saw it had a tail cap switch, was smaller than my MH10, brighter than my MH10, and IP68 water resistance rating. THIS IS MY NEW FAVORITE EDC LIGHT! Super bright, super simple to use tail cap, single press on for full bright, click off and on again for low. Fits nicely in my pocket, the clip is nice and snug, and the battery life is great. I've already turned a few friends onto this light for EDC, as it's cheaper than big brand counterparts and just as good! Highly recommend for EDC, rucking, camping, hiking, keeping in the glovebox, etc.

Solid, but...
Good flashlight, but the battery no longer charges, and I can't seem to find a replacement battery online.

Functions: On, Off, High, Low. Brilliantly Perfectly Simple
Waste no time fidgeting with Settings: as “old school meets new age tech” as it can get. It has one button for on and off, and the same button adjusts the brightness between high and low. On, off, high, low. Beautifully simple and compact. High is very bright. Low is ample in most situations, although to be frank, I wish I was a bit brighter considering the next level up is extremely bright. But, all in all, it’s become my go to flashlight.

Awesome light
I wanted a good edc light and have had a nitecore pen light I use for work for the last 8 years. The pen light is still as good as new so I figured I would give this one a shot. I haven’t had it long enough to know how long it will last but it feels like good quality. It’s not too heavy and fits in my pocket really well. The clip is very sturdy so I wouldn’t clip it to delicate fabric but it’s not so tight that I have a hard time getting it on and off. It’s super bright! I really like that it is always on high at first. The low mode takes a little practice to get to and it’s equally as good. The pictures are accurate in this review. It was pitch black out with a little light pollution from the light in front of the house. I could barely see the well just like in the photo. The tree line is a little over 100 yards away and I could see it clearly. The fence and coop are 125 feet. Every one I’ve shown it to requested the link to buy one of their own.

Great Flashlight!
Extremely bright as advertised, and great in low power mode too. The heat level isn’t too intense as long as you do not touch the very top. Build quality is very good and doesn’t feel cheap at all. It functions as expected and the buttons work well. Charging takes about 4 hours for a full battery. Haven’t had a chance to test how long it lasts, but if I experience any problems I will update this review. Overall I would recommend this flashlight. Great in an emergency as well!

Good flashlight, would buy again
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I use this flashlight for work and love it. The flashlight is very bright, it also has a low setting that is useful when working on something close. I like that it is easy to carry in my pocket. The flashlight gets hot when it is on for an extended time but that is normal with all small flashlights I have used with strong light output. I would buy this item again and would recommend it to others.

Best flashlight ever for walking dogs
This is replacing a previous older discontinued model that looks very similar. I don't remember the brightness of the previous one, but this seems to be the same if not better. It's one awesome flashlight! I'm sorry I lost the old one. However, the charging on the new one takes more effort because you have to unscrew the top to plug the charger into the battery itself. In the previous lost model, it was on the back end and you didn't have to unscrew anything. I'm not removing a star because of that, but I don't like it. I think it's a little brighter as it is getting a bit hotter than I ever recall my other one doing. I could see those 4,000 lumen ones getting hot. For walking my dogs, which is what I use it for 99% of the time, it's perfect. I am giving this four stars because I still can't figure out how to turn it on without it flashing.
