We have an older camper and the buttons on it stopped working. This unit was the exact size and the mount holes were in the same place. Speaker "A" has a Front, Back, Left, Right capability. I only have a Left/Right internal and Left/Right external so I put those on Speakers "B" & "C" and capped oof Speaker "A" wires. The unit works good, has good sound and I was able to connect my phone to it by Blue-Tooth to strem sogs from my library. I though that I could control the volumn seperately on the three speaker channels, but if I turn up the outside, the inside level goes up also. All the wires on the pigtail are labled. There is an extra Blue (+12 volt) wire that is used only if you have an external extra amp. It lets the amp know that it can turn on when the radio is on. You don't need to connect this wire to anything if you don't have an extra amp.

This unit is a great upgrade to my little camper, especially considering the basic unit that was there to start. Like to tell people that I'm from the 70's and can wire anything. `That said, I had very little trouble installing this unit only because I have experience. My complaint is that the installation instructions are not all that clear considering the simple, inferior units that tend to come in new campers. Instructions are all online which sounds convenient, but as I stated are not complete for all circumstances. You do get a hard copy of basic operating instructions, again could be better. I would like to see companies go back to complete and clear hard copy instructions in print that's readable. Technology is great but most folks aren't as experienced as I am. Now for the reason for the 5 stars. It's a very nice upgrade considering what I had, I had little difficulties on installation, Controls are easy and clear as far as I'm concerned and it works and SOUNDS great. I highly recommend the unit, just think the company could help buyers out by giving better instructions

I purchased this product last year and use it probably every two months for about 10 days per trip . Hundred percent better than my last unit even though my factory unit and our trailer was a cheaper model. This one is better with new speakers performs awesome. Only one drawback there’s no headphone jack. With three channels of speakers, I just have to take one of the channels and install a separate jack.

I recieved this unit today. The shipping box was torn and the tape that states do not accept if seal was broken was broken. The box had been retaped. The unit was inside of a box correctly labeled but the box had been ripped open. The internal cardboard protectors did not fit the unit. The unit appears undamaged and new. The instruction manual is missing. The delivery service did not ring the doorbell when delivered so did not have the chance to not accept the item. I decided to take a chance and hook it up to determine if it works. I am unable to locate the shipping screw for transport that the warning states must be removed. I will update this review once I can determine if this unit is usable. Meanwhe all 1 star reviews due to condition the unit is in upon arrival. I did not buy this for the packaging and I am hopeful it will work. Follow up: Installation was completed. Instructuon manual was easy to find online. The wiring was all labelled and the connections were easy to make. Strangely the left speakees for all 3 zones did not work. After some head scratching it was determined to be the balance setting was not centered. Once corrected the radio and cd player operated as expected. The shipping screw for the cd player did not exist. The cd player worked as expected. All is well despite the problem with torn up packaging on arrival.

We ordered this product and after carefully installing it into our trailer as per manufacturer directions, the DVD player started to glitch about halfway through every single movie. We tried playing several different DVD of varying thicknesses, but always started glitching at some point in the movie. I contacted Amazon who put us in contact with the manufacturer. After requesting a return, I was informed that instead I could send it back to be replaced under warranty because of the defect. She informed me that our DVD player would be tested in order to ensure that it was defective and I explained that I would not be sending it back if it played movies without glitching. All we wanted was a DVD player that worked and Jensen had a good reputation. Wow! Was I wrong. After sending it back at my expense, I received a package about a week and a half later with the exact same DEFECTIVE DVD PLAYER inside and a terse note explaining that it was tested at the factory and was not defective!! However, it still glitches every time we try to watch a movie about halfway through!! I’m not sure who tested what, but we are left with a DVD player that still won’t play movies AND out $200+ dollars. What a waste! Instead of a present for our kiddos and an upgrade for an older model DVD player that didn’t work, we have nothing to show for what was supposed to be a family surprise. Do not buy this product if you want a quality item backed up with a reputable warranty department!!!

Don't be daunted by The Forest of wires behind it because they're all marked and you shouldn't get lost but word to the wise get those wire connectors that just clip onto the existing wires I wasted hours trying to strip and crimp all these wires. Replace the old one because it didn't have the Bluetooth and the Bluetooth seems to work pretty good. Disconnects occasionally but I think that's the XM and not the unit. Sometimes difficult to reconnect you have to restart your phone because it's simply will not connect to the unit. Other than that it fit the space in the RV that was precut and I didn't have to change anything but it was so tight I didn't even need screws to hold it in. HAs an input so you can run your TV sound and a output so you can charge phones and such. Make sure you've got a good long right and left channel RCA cable. Haven't tried playing a DVD or movie in it yet.

I’ll have to use this radio system for a while to fully check it out to determine the quality of the system, so far it is working quite well in my travel trailer, the one that came with the trailer worked for 15 years so I have high hopes for this one.

I replaced my old Jensen AWM975 with this newer model for the sole purpose of Bluetooth connectivity. It was not direct plug and play and it doesn’t have an HDMI but despite those shortcomings the Bluetooth works great. The wiring is straight forward if you have ever wired a car stereo and the HDMI is replaced with old school technology (RCA). I haven’t hooked up the rca’s yet but I imagine they will be adequate for rv movie watching. All in all i’m happy with the upgrade of Bluetooth. Also pay no attention to the power rating, I nearly didn’t purchase it because of the 6watts per channel but it is every bit as loud as my old unit that was rated at 22watts per channel.
