Lovely high contrast monitor without OLED price
SDR/HDR review, I have noticed most reviews are for the OLED panel this is for the VA monitor. On start up one is not impressed as it shows a lot of light bleed at the bottom, but as your OS starts up this bleed goes, the monitor got a sort of mate screen surface finish, I have noticed a very pleasant and likely accurate out of the box colour reproduction. I am used to OLED TVs and IPAD and still like this monitor contrast a lot. I have tested workflow multitasking and streaming HDR videos and definitely looks lovely, just be aware it doesn’t look like a shiny TV ought to this surface coating, once said that it reduces reflection and let me work without excess brightness. You can do a lot on this ultra wide monitor and experience little eye fatigue. The curve is just right and be aware you have to be in front of the screen as vision angle is limited however this was expected since the beginning. You can still see the screen off angle but it will look washed out, this is less prominent on the horizontal axis than expected, being the vertical axis the opposite. I have nothing to report on gaming yet. Update: This screen tops at 180hz hence the target are us casual gamers, in that regards I am impressed, yes the screen bleads light on black screen but this is way less often that "rtings" reported on their review, in fact is not an issue as it only happens in between transition black screens and never while gaming or streaming even on HDR. I tried playing CO Expedition 33 and after playing with the settings with a radeon 9060XT there was no flicker, either on fix fps or variable and it looks lovely. In that sense this monitor exceeds what you expect for the casual gamer, VA It might be an old technology, but this product milks that technology to produce very good results to a lower price than OLED, absolutely recomendable.

Alienware AW3225QF with HDR DolbyVision 240Hz OLED Gaming Display
Dell Alienware AW3225QF (shipped with FW: M2B105) This display is next-level good, as-in Exceptionally Good. Prior to purchase I done the usual research to narrow down the field in terms of what features I was looking for in my next Gaming display verses the competition, the long and short of it is this particular panel has some of the best-in-class features and technologies which made the decision to upgrade an easy one. Coming from my old Acer ET430k 42" 3840x2160p 4K UHD IPS display I was a bit hesitant, as the drop in screen size I thought may have been more noticeable than what it actually feels like coming to this Alienware 32" However I am pleasantly surprised. The overall build quality is really high, it also has a nice "V" shaped mount as a stand which has a good footprint on my desk with the option to VESA Mount with desk sprung arm stand at a later date. The Curve on this screen is subtle and nothing too crazy which adds to the feel of this display visuals. The color gamut is excellent with Factory pre calibrated certificate and also under windows you can modify these *.icc profiles if you should wish. The downside to this display is the fact you need to clear the pixels with a refresh every few hours to ensure longevity BUT this can be configure to do automatically either during sleep or when the screensaver is triggered. In all, this is a very nice bit of kit. Movie watching is great with HDR/DolbyVision is something else as is G-Sync coming from older LED display technology to this OLED is like night and day difference. Gaming is Crazy good, paired with a 3070/4080/XBOX-X its on another level. MENU: The On-Screen Menu is laid out very nicely with hotkeys and under screen joystick to navigate the menu or change settings, Pair this display with DDM (Dell Display Manager) AlienFX and the ability to sync the color of rear lighting or change it like ambient lighting is a nice touch. This display is packed with features, Automatic Screen windows arrangement under Easy Arrange is really good with the press of a Key I can switch profile to have my usual workspace arranged is brilliant. The USB ports underneath the display are super useful, which I used for Biometric fingerprint readers to unlock my System. Future: I would like to add a second display to this one, and switched into portrait view by rotating 180 deg. Side-by-side for the ultimate visual array! Maybe another Alienware AW3225QF as a third. This is a 5/5 star review (I am only on month 1 with this Display and will update if i discover any shortcomings in the future) Overall a exceptional product with some very nice touches!

Almost Perfect.
I did buy this monitor as refurbished by Dell but I have to mention monitor look's brand new. Not a single scratch anywhere, at least I did not spotted any defects. Display is sharp and really colorful but of course it is a 4K monitor so this was expected. Perfect for daily job or gaming also provide really fast responsive time. I do really like this monitor for colors he produce as I am a big fan of saturated colors so this is perfect for me. As I mentioned is ''Almost Perfect''... I have to say that ''Whites'' are no so good and also general brightness of this monitor is not the best but probably that the nature of OLED Panel. Many cables provide with this monitor and Display Port Cable provided with this monitor didn't work while I setup 4K - 240Hz so I had to buy 3 party cable and now is working fine (I did not test HDMI cables provided with monitor). Last but not list I tried to update firmware but it failed so I need to try again but I tried for few days. I You are moving to this monitor from decent IPS 2K monitor do not expect a miracle in therms of quality, You will notice a different for sure but is not a huge. Overall this is a Great Monitor with few drawbacks.

Breaks Easily - Far Too Easily
Good monitor however you will have to put it in a protective cage to use, screen will damage from slight nudges or bumps, poor quality. Keep away from anyone that may touch it and keep any objects far away from it

Excellent 4K monitor not just for gaming.
QD Oled is extremely beautiful and the size and resolution of the screen is great too. The monitor is obviously great for gaming with super fast response times. HDR has been difficult to justify using in my personal use so I cannot comment on that but I can confidently say that this monitor is also excellent for professional colour work given you know the appropriate settings for the monitor. I use it for lots of rec709 Gamma 2.4 colour grading and has great accuracy out of the box. The curve took a while to adjust to but I think I've come to prefer it when sitting at an appropriate distance. The added USBs are convenient but if you're working with high speed ssd external drives the I've noticed it can struggle to read the drives on occasion through a usb extender dongle.

Great Monitor for Gaming – But a Green Line Appeared After Pixel Refresh
I was really enjoying this monitor — the performance is excellent for gaming. The high refresh rate makes gameplay super smooth, and the picture quality is sharp with vibrant colors. Setup was easy, and everything looked great right out of the box. However, after the monitor ran a pixel refresh by itself (which I understand is a maintenance feature), a thin green line suddenly appeared on the screen. It wasn’t there before, and now it's visible across the display, which is disappointing. I’m not sure if it’s a one-off issue or a flaw with the panel, but it’s frustrating to have a visual defect on an otherwise great monitor. If it weren’t for that, I’d give this 5 stars - but a green line on a new monitor is hard to ignore. I’m hoping support or a replacement can resolve this.

Fantastic monitor
Can't believe how good this monitor is. Probably one of the best upgrades possible for your PC. Colour quality is phenomenal. Specs are top of the range fully immersive. I would highly recommend. Pixel refreshes automatically. For both competitive online gaming and single player its gets top marks. Only downside is OLED for life!

Excellent foray into Ultrawide Gaming
This was my first ultrawide monitor and it hasn’t disappointed. It arrived well packed with no damage, and the screen itself was free of any pixel errors or anomalies. The stand works nicely and lets you adjust the height and tilt but for the real magic I’d recommend lifting it off the desk with a suitable monitor arm. Good refresh rate and minimal ghosting, it’s very justified at its price point, and is a real head turner with its size and picture quality.
