I’m really impressed with the Dremel 4000-2/32 Rotary Tool Kit. It’s powerful, easy to handle, and works beautifully for all kinds of projects. So far, I’ve used it for sanding, engraving, and polishing, and it performs great every time. The variable speed control is super handy, and it feels very precise no matter the material. I also love that it comes with so many attachments and accessories — everything you need is right in the box! The setup was straightforward, and switching between tools is quick and simple. I haven’t used this yet but this was a good buy for the money.

Way too big to hold in one hand for the detail work I got it for so I also purchased a desk clamp hanger ($18) and a Dremel flex shaft ($35) and I couldn't be happier! Very quiet, which is important as I use it indoors. More than enough power for carving and sanding clay and wood which is only what I've used it for so far.

I purchased this to modify PC cases, and the tool has been simply perfect for this use case. The bundle comes with a lot, frankly, more than I know what to do with, and oddly didn't come with the specific bit to cut metal (my use case). At the same time, it was a minimal expense and effort to get the right bit. The documentation and materials included are perfect for a layperson, and coming from a battery powered unit, I can vouch for the wired one being the one to go for. Using the battery powered unit, I would have to recharge multiple times for a single case modification, which drastically slowed down my progress. Wiring in, no such holdups, and I love it. Works great, as advertised. All the extra bits may or may not be useful given your use case. The product also feels and handles like a well built device, never threatening or scaring me for my safety.

Don’t bother with the $15-$20 ones, they burn out. Do it right the first time with Dremel.

Four stars for a great product, five if they have excellent customer service. Please people no more automatic five stars. Good product, long known by its name, easy to use several attachments included in a nice soft case. Be aware that several of the items like brushes will disintegrate quickly with use plan on purchasing more supplies quickly if you use it very often.

The dremel I got appeared to have been used- it had some scuffs on it and what looked like ink, and the accessories were kinda jumbled all over. I think everything is there though, and the dremel works great so I’m happy. It’s my first rotary tool so I’m learning the ropes but I’m excited to see what it can do!

Finally got to use this! I got this a while back since every time I thought "wow, a Dremel tool would be really handy now" I never had one. I used the grinding tool to enlarge an opening in a plastic tub. Then I used the routing bit to cut a square hole in a cabinet for a switch. If you use the routing bit, make sure you use the special collar for it so that the bit stays straight. I had a hard time controlling the bit since it didn't occur to me use the collar and since I've never used a Dremel before. It was easy and intuitive enough for a first-time like me to use right out of the box. This is one of those tools you buy because some day you'll need it, and it'll be nice to have on hand when that time comes. Also, I like that it comes with an assortment of bits and a case.

Product is good but came used looking

Though on the expensive end due to branding, it is a great product for carving and everyday normal usage. Powerful motor but do not compare it with bigger motors. Prolonged usage can be exhausting without the extension shaft due to its weight while carving.
