Insta360 Magnetic Selfie Stick Holster

I used this on a 3 week trip carrying it every single day. I was attaching it to backpacks every day because I forgot you could adjust the orientation to be vertical or horizontal, forcing me to always bring a bag. Once I remembered I could adjust it I attached it to my belt and used it there the whole rest of the time. This never came off despite daily carrying. The only caveat is to make sure it securely attaches by rotating the stick back and forth a little once on attached. This held up great and never fell once the whole trip, even after it got banged around. I took it off and on maybe 500 times over and over again and it always reattaches the same and kept on working. Also, the allen wrench is NOT for turning a screw, it is literally just a lever to tighten the top nut. It's not super-ez to line up the camera exactly to your body but I would just get it set how I want it in the morning and I didn't mess with it again for the rest of the day. This might be the best accessory you could ever get for this camera, that a stick and the lens cover. That is all I am going to take on trips going forward. It's really all the accessories you need for outdoor activities. Get the official stick as well since it has a stand which sometimes is useful. The files it makes are huge so get a big SD card. I found about a week of pretty consistent holiday use would fill a 256gb SD so plan accordingly. Best accessory I have for this camera.

Holster is perfect for my intended use. Solid when locked in place, easy turn release. I wanted to be able to extend the Insta360 above my head while hiking so I placed the quick release between the original selfie stick and tripod selfie stick to be able to extend the camera above my head and also have it balanced. Makes it easy to unlock from the holster, open the tripod and place it on the ground.

The mount is flexible to a good degree. It fits on a fairly thick strap or material. It won't fit on anything but it has fit on all straps and places I have tried it and it tightens done very securely. the magnetic clamping mechanism is quit good and very secure. The only MINOR con is that it comes of with a turn in only one direction and if you go in the other direction with the selfie stick the holding mechanism holds it so tightly that you will start to screw the selfie stick off the mount. it is a minor issue. You just need to remind yourself which way it needs to turn to remove. I use it on my chest pack during launches and landings with my paramotor.

If you attach a long stick like a 270pro, it's very easy for it to fall off when you crouch down and stand up. Due to the stick rubbing against your thigh and twist as you stand up. My camera fell off 3 times doing this, and I stopped using this thing, as quick and useful as it is.

This has honestly become my favorite addition to our 360 camera setup. I will admit, I look ridiculous walking around with it in videos, but that’s part of the fun. The holster itself works really well. I mount it to my backpack, and when I want to grab a quick selfie shot, I can twist the selfie stick off and I’m ready to go. It makes switching between walking around and filming yourself way faster than digging through a bag or trying to carry everything in your hands. My only real complaint was getting the camera lined up with the correct direction of the selfie stick. It took a little messing around, and I was honestly a little worried I was going to break something while adjusting it. Other than that, it’s a great accessory. Super convenient, easy to use once it’s set up, and a really nice add-on if you use your 360 camera while traveling, walking around conventions, or filming on the go.

Love the accessory! Went on a 3 week trip to SE Asia with my 360 camera and this was an accessory I used everyday! One of the best purchases I’ve made for my camera. Easy to install by just screwing it into any selfie stick and then mount the click in holder to a backpack strap or where ever you want to holster the camera. snap it into place so quick and easily. Stays on without feeling like it would off. I dragged my backpack with this holster for 3 weeks across 3 countries 7 cities and in and out of airports 9 times, boat rides, train rides, etc lol this thing held up every single time. Even took it climbing up a hike 400 meters up or 1300 ft. I like that since I’ve mounted mine to my backpack near upper shoulder I can record in that holstered position and it’s like a fpv. It’s very durable. It does have some weight to it. I had to say it’s roughly an about a pound added. It’s all metal so you know it’s a strong build quality to last. I can’t say enough good things about this accessory. I’m 100 satisfied and would buy again if this ever goes out/breaks. But it will be awhile.

This item is good for holding your selfie stick onto a strap of a back pack. You connect it to a strap, Screw it in tight and then "twist" to remove the stick from the holder. Issue is that same... "twist" dosent have a locking mechanism. So when your shooting and getting footage, that "TWIST " motion that releases the stick from its holder isnt an option to lock out. Any slight movements in the wrong direction and your action cam device will spin in that untwisting motion automatically. They should have incorporated a way to lock that "twisting motion", so that you can shoot steadily. Instead of always having that twist motion happen when you don't want it to. Soo close guys... So close. Smh Its very annoying when it happens.

Surprisingly a really high quality product. Wasn’t sure what to expect with something like this. Got it on a good sale too, really exceeded expectations. All metal. And the release mechanism is satisfying.

La verdad que lo veo muy útil para llevar la cámara con su palo selfie en la mochila y llevar las manos libres. Tiene un agarre fuerte, sin miedo a que se caiga la cámara y se quita del soporte de forma muy fácil y con una mano. El material de construcción es primera calidad. La verdad que es un buen invento, no sabes que lo necesitas hasta que lo tienes.

Die magnetische Halterung für den Rucksack habe ich über ein Video entdeckt und für meine Backpacking-Reise nach Thailand gekauft. Die Montage ist schnell und unkompliziert. Die Halterung an der Trageplatte lässt sich mithilfe des Schraubverschlusses problemlos an einem Selfie-Stick befestigen. Das Entriegeln ist anfangs etwas ungewohnt, funktioniert nach kurzer Eingewöhnung jedoch intuitiv. Während einer ATV-Tour in den Bergen von Koh Samui hat die Halterung zuverlässig gehalten, ohne dass sich die Kamera gelöst hat. Praktisch ist vor allem, dass sich die Kamera für kurze Aufnahmen schnell abnehmen und anschließend wieder am Rucksack befestigen lässt, sodass die Hände frei bleiben. Insgesamt eine empfehlenswerte Lösung für unterwegs

Brilliant design. Holds the stick and camera solid. Simple quarter twist of the stick to release, genius. Will work with any selfie stick/action camera that has 1/4 screw connection. I use mine with DJI Osmo 360.
