Hello Barbara, it should. Most disposals use a 20 amp, SPST switch; which is what this is. However, some heavy duty or commercial grade units require a 30 amp switch and breaker. Check the "manufacturers plate" on the disposal to see what amperage it uses. If the label is facing the back wall, you can use a mirror to read it. If it's a 20 amp unit; this is the switch you want.
