I can't tell here if this is one with the insert, but I prefer the ones without. The inserts tend to fall out. I've used many brands of these repeatedly with no leaks. Might need to lube the o-ring.

Worked perfectly
I always worry ordering this type of stuff the size or threads won't be right. This is as advertised. I used it to thread on a pressure gauge to test 1in Pex with tape and dope to 100psi. Worked great.

Easy plumbing!
We had to do some renos in our laundry room and that included shortening up so old plumbing. I bought these to work with the washing machine and they did great. These are super easy install and perfect fit. I know some people don't like the "SharkBite" style fittings but I've used several of these with great success now. Just remember that you should avoid using those in sealed up areas just in case you do get a leak. But anywhere accessible is a no brainer for me. For your average weekend DYIer, these sure beat risking burning down your house with soldering. :)
